Fc is way way better sa 1.2. Pero kung concern mo talaga fc, just to be safe mag vios 1.3 ka nalang o kaya hyundai eon. Lalo na kung pang pasok lang sa skul

Wow... traffic conditions make a night-and-day difference with regards to fuel consumption... I made two trips tonight, one from 6:30 to 8pm going from The Fort to Makati then Mandaluyong (let's call that TRIP A) and one from 10 to 10:40pm from Mandaluyong to Pasig (let's call that TRIP B):

TRIP A:
Time = 1h28m
Distance = 9.8km
Ave Speed = 6.68kph
Fuel Consumption = 4.44 km/L

TRIP B:
Time = 41m
Distance = 11.5km
Ave Speed = 16.83kph
Fuel Consumption = 9.09 km/L

That just roughly a 10kph difference in speed, which isn't much, but more than double the fuel efficiency.

I'm excited to see how this car performs on the expressway :P

Nope.. basta yun 1.4 gamma 4 speed AT ang engine at transmission, kadalasan ito ang may poor fc.

HB gamit ko pero yun fc na nakukuha not as bad nun iba na 5-6 km/l.. yun 1.2 kasi ng rio parehas sa 1.2 ng picanto, sa picanto kasi may nababasa din ako na bad fc pero puro matic ang gamit, kaya kung manual naman kukunin mo na rio - more on the safe side ka naman.

Basta same yun tire and wheel size sa oem 15" rims ng rio, hindi mawawala warranty mo. Ang alam ko nga kahit ipalit mo yun gulong ng HB hindi din mawawala eh dahil oem size naman yun pero mas maganda tanungin mo sa casa o agent niyo para sigurado.

NLEX nga siguro.

Pag minsang umuwi kami ng Pampanga, panigurado titignan ko kung anong fc ang kalalabasan nito. Sabihin ko pa mag-end-to-end kami ng SCTEX. Haha.

Yun 1.2LX, oo wala FC issues yan. Same engine yata yan with the 1.2L Picanto.

i was considering the rio hatch as a primary replacement for my getz, look at it twice already, the only one stopping me is the fc, wish they use the 6 speed a/t, that might solve the poor fc, i dont want to drive and keep on looking on the tach not to go beyond 2k......

That was expected. That's not "just" a 10 kmh difference. That's over twice the time to go the same distance. 6 kmh? I can walk a lot faster than that.

That's 1 liter to drive 11 km, and around 1.5 liters to idle in traffic for over an hour. Even diesels use over 1 liter per hour at idle with the aircon on.

Sidenote: Bakit ba parang ang pakiramdam ko dito yung mga tao eh "selective reading" ang ginagawa. Yung "Fuel Consumption" figures lang ang nakikita at hindi yung ibang info?

Ang my Problema talaga is yung automatic sir. mejo safe pala sa sa 1.2LX.
