Lahat ng gas natin dito unleaded. Unleaded means the gas is not leaded, so premium, blaze, xcs, vpower etc. Is unleaded

Lahat ng oil companies complied to that.
Caltex Gold, Petron XCS yung may 95+ RON.
Just an fyi, may mandate na ngayon ang ating gov to make all gasoline 95 RON. Wala pang date kung kelan ang deadline but Gasoline stations will definitely comply. As of now, sa diesel pa lang may Euro 4 grade like Unioil.
Thank you sa mga response. new owner of Kia Rio lang kasi. Accent at Rio kasi pinagpipilian ko dati, madami kasi issues ung accent kaya ung rio napili ko.
What i meant to ask sana kung ang mga kappa engines ba ay octane-responsive din gaya ng gamma engines? I visited kia picanto thread din and may mga gumagamit ng 95 RON(xcs,gold...) and 93 RON(xtra unleaded, fuelsave...) On the manual nakalagay 91 RON or higher.
Just wanna know the performance of the car when you put ung mga xtra unleaded or fuelsave. Right now kasi im using xcs, medyo ok naman FC and ung engine response. syempre mas mura kasi ung mga fuelsave
Aking kasi Rio HB / AT.
Ikaw, try mo for yourself at look for the feel you want. Kasi tayong mga drivers, may ibat ibang feel andar.
Kung cost savings lang naman, few centavos lang naman ang difference with regular and premium so parang hindi mo rin ramdam. For example, sa amin ngayon sa Petron, extra unleaded is 48 pesos, XCS is 48.10 pesos. 10 centavo is not that costly. And if you will compare the quality, sa XCS na ako kasi may mga additives na kasama yun to enchance your engine).
As per sa trip computer,
11-12 km/l city driving
18 km/l highway 80-100 kph
Unioil - Quantum
PTT -Performa 95+ (E10) Premium Gasoline
Total - Protec
Power front windows only, 1-din hu, hubcap rims, no abs, no airbags, 2 colors only(white and silver), no central locking(nagpalagay lang ako nito kaya meron na ngayon).
Alam ko ung slx naka-mags na, central locking and driver side airbag.
Magandang Gabi Po,
The traffic condition when I drive the Rio was medium-heavy because there are a lot of stoplights in Manila.
That's why I think it has a good FC.
I mean sa screen meron dun average speed..Starting from point A pag dating niyo sa point B (your usual route)... Park your car.. Ano reading ng average speed? Then at the end of the day (nagrereset yung average reading if the car has been turned off for coulple of hours), from point B to point A (paguwi sa bahay naman) ano naman ang reading?
FYI, the ECO function whether naka ON or OFF niya.. it does no effect on engine performance.. It only shows if your are driving economically or not.. Dati akala ko kapag naka OFF yun eh ala sports mode yung hatch.. hindi pala..
i am endorsing an aggressive pedal habit by shifting up at 2000rpm or when the prompter illuminates. i tried it and it works for my ex mt rio. as a result, i have improved my fc from 6km/l to 7.5km/l based on my last full tank. i think my next reading will improve because the fc rate in the trip computer is showing 10.9l/100km compared to the previous 12.5l/100km reading of city driving. hope this helps.
yes sir parehas tayo around 2k-2.5k shifting point ko, i thing if we stay on that powerband bukod sa malakas hatak eh matipid sa FC, pero sir 7.5km/L is still high IMHO, ako kasi poorest fc ko 8km/L which is super heavy traffic, yung tipong 2hours mo tatakbuhin yung 20kms. Normal consumption ko is 10kms/L manual computation. sa trip computer naka register is 8.5-9.5L/100kms always 2 pa kami ni Misis nakasakay. Hoping for your next update about Good FC sir. - Kia Rio 2012 EX Sedan 6speed Manual
