ano FC na nakuha mo? gaano kalayo at oras?

Since nagpakarga ako last time hindi ko pa narereset yung mga settings sa MID eh.

18.1L/100km currently yung reading dun, tapos I think approx 100km yung "trip" and approx. 50% nalang yung fuel gauge.

More or less sabihin na nating 5km/h yung fuel consumption on 8kph ave.

Buti nalang andun yung manual para sabihin kung anong gagawin in that situation. Akala namin initially nasira agad yung makina, haha.

Forgot to tell everyone that I had the test drive session with CAC last Saturday.
After doing 4 trips, with controlled eco driving until 2k rpm, i got average consumption for the following:

    7.09km/l (heavy traffic)
    7.57km/l (moderate traffic)
    8.09km/l (normal traffic)
    13.89km/l (combined traffic, mostly highway)

Bottomline, bawal lumagpas ng 2k rpm if we want to get the best FC. Only problem with that requirement, bawal na ang "sporty" at "aggressive" driving. Dahil maliit lang makina, parang pagong to accelerate without crossing the 2k rpm.

Applying some principles above, here is my latest FC:

    15 liters Petron Blaze 100
    Odo: around 1,800++ km.
    Eastwood-Makati-Intramuros-Makati-Eastwood, rush hour traffic
    Reading: 105.4km
    FC: 7.03 km/liter

I asked the CAC representative to inform me ASAP if there are ECU updates for the Rio so that I can further improve my FC.

Kasi twice na nangyari na di ko mastart yung engine because of this. Naaayos ko naman by pressing certains buttons dun sa transponder in a certain order... pero I'm unsure of what's causing it.

My suspicion is that maybe I'm taking too long to start the engine from the time the alarm is disarmed?

    Can anyone opine regarding this?

You may use unleaded gasoline with RON 91-94 / AKI 87-90 but it may result in slight performance reduction of the vehicle.

Except Europe: Your vehicle is designed to use only unleaded fuel having an octane rating of RON 91 / AKI 87 or higher.
Does anyone know why the requirement is different for Europe and for outside Europe?

Kasi previously pinaguusapan natin na RON 95 and minimum recommended for the Rio, right? Pero sa manual RON 91 actually ang nakalagay.

Would anyone know kung ano ba talaga for Rio owners here in the Philippines? RON 95 ba o RON 91?

    Fuel Save
    V-Power Nitro+
    V-Power Nitro+ Racing

Yung RON 97 ba is the "V-Power Nitro+"? Kasi maliit lang yung difference nito in price with the Fuel Save. Less than a peso per liter.

The big difference in price is between the V-Power Nitro+ and V-Power Nitro+ Racing. Parang 2.00 pesos per liter ang difference. Would you know what the octane rating of the Racing variant is, and why it's much more expensive?

I was just curious so sana may makapag-confirm nito

In any case, I'll probably try loading up with Petron XCS on my next full tank. I pass by one Petron station on the way to work and one Petron station on the way home, so between those two Petron stations, I imagine I can regularly use XCS considering around three times in a month lang naman siguro ako magpapakarga.

    ============

whoa naguluhan ako bigla dun ah. how do you know this sir?

so considering 95 RON is best for the Rio, ano ang dapat kong ikarga? Yung advertised as 95 RON? O yung Petron Blaze na "in reality its only 95"?

i think kung parts ng makina and suspension di naman siguro magiging problem since same sila ng Hyundai Accent

Very patethic indeed ang FC natin. Sinabi ko dun sa taga CAC na I am actually downgrading to a 1.4 liter car tapos worst pa sa mga kotseng dinadrive ko dati....

Rav4 3-dr 2liter engine - 8km/liter kahit ihataw mo palagi, naging 7km/liter nung nagkaroon ng halo ang unleaded gas
Pajero FieldMaster 4x4 2.5 liter - 7km/liter kahit ihataw mo pa
Sta Fe 4x2 - 9km/liter kahit ihataw mo pa
Kia Sorento 4x4 - 7km/liter kahit ihataw mo pa
    Corolla GLi Lovelife - 10km/liter
    Civic EF sedan 14km/liter

I told them minimum requirement ko is 8km/liter. Everything I get now is below expectation and I will continue to post dito sa thread na eto hanggang di ko nakukuha yung desired FC ko.

And 8km/liter is not that impresssive, that CUV territory with 2.0 liter
