Weird, wala talagang consistency. Sabi sa akin 6speed auto yung hatchback. No mention kung drum rear. For the price maybe the Fiesta Sport is better.

lobudget, i was about to get a ford fiesta sports last december until i saw the fb page of the new kia rio.

826k (ford fiesta s) vs. 838k (kia rio hatchback)?

i'll go with the rio. sa porma na lang, sobrang ganda. to think na sedan lx pa lang nakikita ko. tapos di pa full features tulad ng hatchback de luxe.

Standard pricing po yan ng mga dealer, we have some in Club Rio who' connected with Kia.

tama yang pricing. sa lahat ng pinuntahan at pinagtanungan kong dealers yan ang price. 838k ang hatchback deluxe.

when i went to the different dealers of kia, i asked them if they know about the knocking problem of the accent 1.4 gamma engine. they are all aware. sabi ko, eh yan din ang gamit ng new rio eh. sabi nila, kia knows about the problem of hyundai and they are sure that the engines they will use will not have the same problem.

True the engine will not have the same problems as the Accent, since it's the ECU that is problematic. Magaling sa wording yung mga SA. lol

But looking at the trend the Accent AT(knock or low power) has issues and so does the Picanto AT (horrid FC). So essentially the Kappa and Gamma ECUs for AT are not programmed correctly. Can someone stick an OBD or scangauge on these things to see if any of the sensors are reporting any issues? Since the newer batches of the Accent (circa Q4 2011) dont seem to be having as much issues, i'm hoping the Rio will not have issues. Too bad they once again ditched the 6-speed trans and no fogs for the highest level 4-door.

Stupid Honda increased prices of the city given the 4 month waiting list to actually get the unit...grrrr...
