Pagkakaalam ko KIA and Hyundai recommend the timing belt to be changed at 70k kms so malapit na nga yan. Try inquiring from goodgear pasay muna kung magkano ang original na timing belt. Masyadong taga yan sa 36k. Dapat nasa below 4k lang yan and original/OEM na.

Yes, replace all filters and have the EGR cleaned as well. Alam ko meron ding gumagawa sa goodgear kung PMS rin lang naman.

nung nagpa quote ako timing belt replacement nasa 25k, that was last year mga september ata, so since may promo sila ngayon dapat bumaba pa, e di balewala din pala yang promo na yan

btw, ano pong malakas na tunog habang nag accelerate, na-experience ko yung habang nag a-accelerate e ang lakas ng vibration ng dashboard ko, yun yung tunog na narinig ko, turned out dirty air filter

SIRs good day!

Ive narrowed down my options to an 09 model (aqcuired dec 09) with 62k odo at 410k and 2010 model with 20k odo at 430k. Ok sana un 2010 kaya lng mejo madami ppgawa like a/c (not working), batt (palit) and missing accessories (foot break pad, etc). The 09 model is ok nman un acceleration and kng sakali cosmetics lang aayusin. My only concern is medyo malayo un odo nila.

Need your inputs sana which is the better choice. Btw, both are 2.0 m/t.

Also, they dnt have the casa records for both. In terms of mileage, ano na un mga dapat palitan/i-check based on PMS and if ever how much.

Really excited to get a carens...

Here's the estimate for the 60k PMS and timing belt replacement. Ang dami pa lang papalitan hindi lang timing belt. Ang tanong eh, kailangan ba talaga? Willing naman ako magbayad basta kailangan.

Im planning to buy a pre owned carens 09 M/T at 62k PMS. Im not sure if nagawa ng previous owner un 60k PMS before selling the car to a dealer since wala ng casa records ang auto.

Do you suggest that i do these agad? Or pakiramdaman ko muna yung car after i buy it?

yes weekdays marami rin kaya dapat maaga ka mga before 9am. maliit lang kasi yung parking area ng goodgear parang 3 sasakyan lang yung kasya kaya unahan sa parking.

went there last friday, replaced timing belt (gates), idler, tensioner, camshaft oil seal, crankshaft oilseal and v-ribbed belt, medyo napamahal sa tensioner kasi ni-source pa nila sa ibang store, total is 11k+ for parts and labor is 2.5k, kaya gawin ng isang oras kung kumpleto na yung parts, since naghintay pa ako makuha yung tensioner, inabot ako ng half day.
