sorry, so before and after "change oil" have the same level on dipstick? half?

did you check the condition of the oil before the change oil? i mean maitim na ba na tipong hindi nagpapalit ng oil for years?

siguro kung ako nasa kalagayan mo, i'll check the oils' condition now kung malinaw pa or maitim na, kung maitim na kagad, papalitan ko ulit, maybe flushing will help? but i will not drive it if the dipstick level mark is only half, top up na lang kung malinaw pa

yes, half level before and after change oil and hot or cold.

yes, maitim na po yung oil before and then when I checked right after the change oil, halos maitim na ren agad eh kapapalit lang naman.

wala naman oil leak sa garahe or sa ilalim ng makina sir. at kung magpapalit ule ako ng oil, 6L pa ren ba or 6+L if ever halfway full pa ren ang level?

Comfortable ride for long distance trip...even with 7-passengers, at matipid sa diesel.

2007 model? Diesel ba or gas?

2007 diesel MT, not sure lang kung LX or EX kasi wala naman nakalagay sa likod. Although powered yun windows, so im assuming its higher than the basic variant unless Im wrong po.

LX po yan sir. Walang MT and EX, while LX has both MT and AT. It is still a good buy, ours is the same age (2007 and 92K) and still rocking like it did when brand new. Aircon pa lang ang napapagawa so far, nothing major though. I liked the M/T better than the A/T (for the carens only, some cars I like A/T better) and it is the reason why we did not get the EX.

Congrats... and oh, you may want to upgrade the tires/wheels. The stock tires on the LX M/T is 195/60 R15 but upgrading to 225/50 R17 will really improve the driving experience imho, it's the only upgrade I did.

Napalitan na yun mags nun huling may-ari, including the thread :-)... conceptone yun mags and mukang mas malapad tignan from a far compared to when you look at the stock tires of an innova na halatang isang dangkal lang ang lapad :-D

Just got my Carens yesterday from the Dealers showroom. Handling was great! although kinailangan ko ipa-align at ipapabalance ko pa yun mga gulong dahil may vibration once i hit 120kph.

question: does Carens have a safety feature wherein there is a limit to the RPM? like with the Nissan Vanette before to avoid family drivers from flooring while they had children on-board.

yun Carens ko kasi, once it hits 3000RPM it stops there and wont go over. so i need to change gear na agad. Although light footed naman ako and I usually change gear agad at 2k RPM (got used to my '91 corolla), pag sa 1st and 2nd gear kasi I feel hindi ko mahataw to get to the right speed before changing gear especially when overtaking (magulo ba?)

2nd question: im hearing a tik-tik-tik when I have the AC on, then disappears when I turn the AC off, is this a compressor issue? im basing it from my experience with my corolla before, but not sure if its the same with the Carens.

may nagbebenta ng '08 carens CRDi MT sa Kia Carens Club (FB). Baka meron may interesado sa inyo, hindi ko kilala yun may-ari, pero mukang maayos pa naman yun Carens nya. (With leather seat covers, 17inch rims and fog lamps)

congrats then, basta follow maintenance schedule para laging nasa condition yung sasakyan and i would suggest you buy spare(s) air filter, aircon filter and oil filter, replacement pwede na basta pag nakita mong marumi palit kagad except oil filter. lately lang ako nag try ng replacement oil filter(baldwin) hindi ko pa masabi kung ok.
