Tanong ko lang kung ilan taon na ang Carenss mo. Nagpalit ako ng compressor after 5 years dahil nagshort ang wiring sa mismong compressor. Ang nangyari ay nag iispark pala kaya na weld yung rotor sa body nung compressor. Result? ayaw magstart. Towed to casa at naayos after four days after compressor change and observation.

Quick question lang regarding sa power steering fluid PSF 4 nakalagay sa owner's manual nun 2008 Carens kaso wala ako makita na PSF 4 kahit sa mga casa di naman din PSF 4 nilalagay. Meron na ba nagpalit nun power steering fluid? Ano nilagay niyo? Second hand ko nabili yun Carens kaya palitan ko sana lahat ng fluid, napalitan na lahat yun power steering fluid na lang and meron din whining sound kapag lumiliko.

I back read kaso same dillema lang din yun nabasa ko walang mabili o mahanap na PSF4

Hello mga sir. Is it normal to have busted bulbs *45k odo? First, my right side low beam went down and then now my left for carens. What bulb brands can you suggest? Does anyone have an experience when it comes to using white bulbs? Like Philips Diamond bright.

I have to replace my dome lights, both in 2nd and third row and i cant find any here in cebu. Does banawe shops offer deals outside manila? Thanks po in advance. Our carens is doing well because of this thread.

OT: Im just wondering if Columbia is already implementing a strict 3 mos policy for pms?

I've had my main headlight bulbs replaced twice already. Odo now at *36k for a 5 year old carens.
It's normal to have busted bulbs, they won't last forever. I've used a all-weather bulbs with higher wattage rating....and went pfffttt after about a year or two. Now back to using regular bulb. HTH

Thank you sir for the reply. Our Carens is more than 5 years old already, no wonder why. Are there bulbs with the same wattage rating as the original but of super white color? Does the name "h7" imply size or wattage rating?

h7 yung size, normally 55watts, madami kang pagpipilian sir, nung time na napundi yung right side lo beam ko, pinalitan ko lang ng circuit brand, walang difference sa stock na philips, then eventually "upgraded" to osram nb+, pero wala din akong makitang difference. kung gusto mo ng white meron ata sa concorde, cant remember the brand basta blue yung tip nya

Mga sir, I've been a reader to this forum since it started, I also own 2008 crdi EX running 108k on Odo now, I need your opinion on this:
Recently my carens suddenly stopped and won't start at all, I brought it to kia pangasinan and their diagnose was...
3 of its valves leaked (may singaw) while I never experience lag or short of power or even black smoke before it happen,
to give the benefit of the doubt I decided to replace the valve which cost me almost 70k and more than a month of waiting,
after replacing these parts according to kia the car started for awhile then emitted black smoke then the engine shuts down. Now they called me
yesterday suggesting to replace piston rings. I am doubtful of this, is anybody had experience with this problem with your carens? Or is this a correct diagnos?

If you didn't experience any engine trouble before (didn't knock, no loud noise whatsoever), then it probably isn't the engine.

I've had a discussion with a mechanic before (just a normal usap usapan) that sometimes fuel pumps konk out so engine suddenly stops. It could be a similar case.

could be the fuel pump inside the tank that primes the fuel system on engine start..

leaking valves will not cause the engine to suddenly stop unless the valves are broken..

it looks like the mechanics at kia pangasinan don't know what they are doing and made a mess in your engine

Kia said they already check egr and turbo and it's working fine, now they suggest to replace piston rings and bearings, I believe they are going the wrong way, planning to pullout my car, does anybody here knows better mechanic than KIA's?

I suggest you pull out your car from there. Holdpper sila diyan sa kia pangasinan. Kahit na pwede pa irepair ang gusto agad nila palit ng piyesa na brand new na pagkamahal mahal..

Try goodgear in pasay city. The oem lamps will necessitate changing the "stick" control for the lighting. Oem lamps usually come with this. Bought mine online. You can check out sulit maybe there are still sellers of this product.

Hi Kia owners, as you may aware that our ride 2.0 crdi engine has an EGR that needs to clean every now and then. This EGR is giving me a headache since it is the cause of rough idling, engine surge, and loss of power. I have learned that Montero and Starex owners are blocking their EGR with a blanking plate to reduce black smokes and a cleaner engine. Since they have also a CRDi engines I think it could also be done on our CDRi Carens. What you think guys? Here is the sample blanking plate for our Carens.
