Kamusta mga carens nyo? Meron ba ditong nagka issue na sa power windows? Yung sa akin bali na yung plastic na kinakapitan nung cable kaya laglag na sya. Naghahanap ako ng repair lang kasi sa casa palit buong panel

May problem yung window ko ngayon. Yung right rear window bumababa pero ayaw umakyat kapag ginamit yung door controller, pero kapag driver window controller, umaakyat naman. Nangyari na ito sa front passenger window at nilinis lang yung contacts and ok na.

Sirs i need your help new owner of kia carens here, just bought my 2010 kia carens lx/mt last friday 03 oct 2014, the unit was a repo from bank, i think there are issues with the car 1. ALTERNATOR is deffective not charging. 2. No Aircon, no power at all even the blower. 3. No power on stereo. This is what happened, pagkabili ko nung nilabas ko na from the seller bumili agad ako ng battery bradnew kasi nga wlang battery ung unit, i drove my way to fortbonifacio but nung nasa guadalupe na ako biglang namatay yung carens in the middle of the highway! Nung try ko e start ayaw na parang wla ng kuryente, so nag patulak ako at umadar naman, when i arrived at bayani road pina check ko sa isang shop ang diagnosed is sira nga ang alternator,. The unit is still under warranty kasi 25k odo pa lang at wla pa naman 5 years but the problem is d nasunod yung maintenance service nya kasi sa record isang beses lang na pms nung 5k ang odo. My heart bleeds, this is my first car ever pano kaya ito pwede pa kaya ipa warranty yung unit mga sirs?

Pina charge ko na lang yung battery para lang mka uwi ako, im so frustrated kasi utang pa yung pinambili ko 2 years ko babayaran and i dnt knw kung maayos pa itong carens na nabili ko by the way sundalo po ako at sa mindanao ang destino ko plan to drive the caren all the way to mindanao sana pero nag aalanganin na ako baka d ako maka abot ng mindanao. 😞

Sorry to hear that. Sakit nga sa loob yang nabili mo. Medyo nakakapagtaka kasi maraming walang power tulad ng sabi mo. Sana mga fuse lang o kaya maraming disconnected kung naka stock ng matagal. Pa check mo sa casa, try mo lang baka ma honor yung warranty. Kung hindi naman pa diagnose mo na lang sa casa para alam mo kung ano talaga sira tapos sa labas mo na lang pagawa.

I have my carens at 110K km mileage. having the same issues as you have of whistling sound. This started when It was around 75K mileage. Service technicians was telling me it was normal until warranty ended. Do not have issues with power loss or black smoke so did not bother asking them again. So far it has been ok with every 5,000 km PMS.

I am very happy with my carens now going 7 years.

Yes sir dami nga wlang power kala ko panalo na ako ksi makinis at mababa pa mileagng unit tsk, tiningnan ko kanina umaga mga fuses sir, ok naman lahat sir ipa check ko sa casa sa tuesday sana nga ma honor ang warranty, but meron pa ako problema na isa yun ay papano ako makakarating ng kia e rodriguez galing fortbonifacio cgurado ititirik na nMan ako nito pag maubos ang kuryente ng battery.

BTW, did you try contacting un seller ng auto? Part of it should be handled by them due to miss on maintainance.

Yes sir naka usap ko na seller pero "as is where is" kasi yung unit pag binili sa kanya, sumugal na ako na binili kasi nga baka ma kuha pa ng warranty, kaso sabi mo nga eh d na ma honor lalo ako napa aray, sir san kaya ako mkaka bili ng alternator para sa carens, sorry talaga wla ako alam dito sa MM kasi taga minadanao ako sir.

Kaya yan ng Carens kahit 7-passengers.

Sufficient naman yung circulation ng lamig till 3rd row, never had that complain when we had long day-trip (10-hour drive sa north) with passengers at 3rd row.

I am very happy with my carens now going 7 years.

Had my carens serviced and the whistling sound was corrected by changing the turbo actuator and compressor pulley. Engine now good as new. Power back to normal and annoying whistling sound was rectified. Above parts were replaced under warranty.

Nagawa ko na iyan (7 people to Baguio) plus puno ng bagahe yung roof basket. Malakas talaga power ng Carens pero hindi siya SUV kaya dapat tamang paraan ng pagmamaneho. Low gear lang paakyat para hindi mamatayan ng makina.

meron na po bang nakapagpalit ng power steering fluid, brake fluid at coolant? san nyo po pinagawa at magkano inabot? am planning to have it done sa casa, 90k km na naitakbo ng carens ko

any feedback/comments/suggestions?
