2007 Kia Carens [continued]

Hi guys, its been a long time a havent visited this forum, i just got back from China and been busy this past few months, anyway, i have a problem with my carens:

1. Loss of power
2. Feeling na pigil ang accelaration from 1st to 2nd
3. Black smoke (minsan meron, minsan wala)

What the kia service center done was:
1. Clean EGR
2. Clean all the hoses
3. Change oil and filter
4. Change fuel filter
5. Drained and change the atf fluid
6. Drained and change the radiator fluid
7. Cleaned the MAF sensor

But the problem is still there.
Went this morning to kia, and they temporary change the MAF sensor and solenoid valve using the MAF sensor and solenoid valve of the other carens that was there (hiniram lang namin temporary), but the problem is still there when we test drive my carens, this pm when i went to fetch the kids at the school, biglang na off ang engine when i was going out of the school.

Any idea or has anybody experienced this kind of problem? Oh and one more thing, this happens if im using A/T mode, if im using +/- manual mode ay may power naman, very weird ang problema ng carens ko, yung ginagawa ko nga ay if pigil ang takbo ay i switch agad to +/- mode and downshift 1 gear and takbo agad si carens.

My odo reading is 36000kms++, and 5yrs old na ito last November, my kia is A/T.

Change air filter.
Case to case basis talaga ang carens natin, i experienced loss of power too a few months back. Inuna ko mag palit ng fuel filter, no effect. Then change air filter, ayun, lakas ng hatak uli.

per liter of petron REV X all terrain is P490.00

sir, kumusta naman po ang fully synthetic ng petron, was there less vibration and noise o same same?

Sir, yung carens namin dati nangyari na iipit ung speed, di ko alam kung similar ito sa number 2 pero ang ginalaw noon ay yung compressor para maayos.

Nag order na ako ng solenoid valve kasi baka ito ang culprit, im keeping my finger cross.

They cleaned the egr but not the turbo, i will ask them next week, going kami boracay kasi this coming friday.

Baka may nahalong tubig sa fuel or hindi maganda yung fuel na nailagay. Possible din na baka sira na yung egr valve. Pacheck mo na lang sa computer nila sir. Ang main culprit naman ata diyan e yung egr. May kakilala ako na GStarex owner na tumirik din dahil sa egr. Ang ginawa ng mechanic eh binlock na yung egr for good at ayun, okey na siya.

*critchon: sir na misalign dati yung tailgate strut ng carens ko dahil yung interior detailer binigla yung pagsara nung tailgate. Pero inayos naman nila okey na.

My Carens LX M/T is already 5 yrs old and thinking of selling it. How much do you think is the fair market value nito? Casa maintained, bagong hilamos, 48t+ kms, no upgrade done.

Sir me nakita ako sa sulit.com 2007 AT model low mileage 18" yung mags 550k. Meron din 2007 model LX AT 60k kms plus mileage 458k.

Bad trip, now i have this problem. Ang hina ng hatak from standstill. Na correct ko itong problem a few weeks back just by replacing an aftermarket air filter.
A problem for me now is that im at baguio right now. Ayaw umabate sa medyo matarik na lugar.

Happy new year guys! Sa wakas at nakalog-in din ako sa tsikot, ang tagal-tagal ko nang gustong magpost o sumagot sa mga tanong pero di ako makapasok sa tsikot. Anyway, just want to share what happened to my Carens last week. Just had my 55K PMS on the 26th and everything was A-OK before and just after the PMS. Nung pauwi na ako nung 28th, bigla na lang namatayan ako ng makina, A/T po ang Carens ko. May redondo naman pero ayaw tumuloy, kaya tinulak ko muna sa tabi ng kalsada. Buti na lang at malapit lang ako sa mekaniko friend ko kaya tinawagan ko siya. Since gabi na, nilipat-lipat lang niya ang mga relay baka sakali. Nag-start naman at nakauwi ako after mga 10 mins on the road. Kinaumagahan, nag-start ulit pero di ako mapakali kaya dinala ko sa Kia Congressional para ma-check up. Ayaw magbasa ng computer nila kaya sabi ng congressional, dadalhin daw sa ibang Kia na malapit para gamitan ng scanner. Ayaw naman mag-start and the techs tried to interchange the relays again...it took them a good 15 mins din bago naka-start. Pagbalik ng Carens ko, yung crankshaft position sensor daw ang problema kaya ayaw mag-start at namamatay ang makina. Since saturday nun, walang opisina sa main at long weekend pa, kaya after new year pa daw malalaman ang price at availability. Anyone experienced this on their Carens? Thanks

sir, how about yung MAF sensor, nalinis din po ba nung nagpalit ka ng air filter?
