Same tayo ng dilemma sir. With its history and all that, mas lalong mahihirapan ako magbenta. I am setting my sights on the new Sorento o yung Everest na babagay sa daan (kailangan kasi ng mataas na ground clearance).

For now, pinag iisipan kong mabuti yung mga options ko. Kung may magandang offer, sige benta ko. Or pwede rin as a second option, i trade in ko na lang kung okey naman offer ng Kia for a new Sorento.

Aircon's working perfectly now. Had it done at a shop called "Climate" along P.Tuason in Cubao. They replaced the parts with the same brand (which apparently, is a bit hard to find outside of the casa) and I'm finally enjoying good cooling inside my car.

As for the fuel gauge, I ran around 307 kms and the fuel gauge was a little over the halfway mark. I gassed up again and amazingly, it was back to full tank after getting around 18 liters of diesel. That comes out to around 16.5kms/liter!!

But now, the fuel gauge is back to normal. Still observing it. Hopefully, it was just a fluke.

how much sir yung total cost ng replacement?

re: fuel gauge, ganyan din sa akin, mga 70-80km na natatakbo ko bago gumalaw ng konti yung needle from full tank and a little over the half mark for more than 300km na natakbo though mt yung sa akin.

baka nag lessen yung fc nung mawala yung ac, hehehe

Total cost for the purchase and installation of a brand new compressor, condenser and expansion valve was P32K.

Hello mga sir. Is it normal to have busted bulbs *45k odo? First, my right side low beam went down and then now my left for carens. What bulb brands can you suggest? Does anyone have an experience when it comes to using white bulbs? Like Philips Diamond bright.

I have to replace my dome lights, both in 2nd and third row and i cant find any here in cebu. Does banawe shops offer deals outside manila? Thanks po in advance. Our carens is doing well because of this thread.

OT: Im just wondering if Columbia is already implementing a strict 3 mos policy for pms?

I've had my main headlight bulbs replaced twice already. Odo now at *36k for a 5 year old carens.
It's normal to have busted bulbs, they won't last forever. I've used a all-weather bulbs with higher wattage rating....and went pfffttt after about a year or two. Now back to using regular bulb. HTH

Thank you sir for the reply. Our Carens is more than 5 years old already, no wonder why. Are there bulbs with the same wattage rating as the original but of super white color? Does the name "h7" imply size or wattage rating?

h7 yung size, normally 55watts, madami kang pagpipilian sir, nung time na napundi yung right side lo beam ko, pinalitan ko lang ng circuit brand, walang difference sa stock na philips, then eventually "upgraded" to osram nb+, pero wala din akong makitang difference. kung gusto mo ng white meron ata sa concorde, cant remember the brand basta blue yung tip nya

I suggest you pull out your car from there.

    Hi all,

I don't have a Carens yet but I'm planning to buy 2nd hand, maybe 2009 model if the budget permits.
I'd been watching this thread for a while, already read from page 1. Please share naman the cost of
    change outside the casa

    Brand of oil
    viscosity
    mineral or synthetic
    cost of filter/brand
gasoline station or favorite neighborhood mekaniko

If synthetic 10K ba next change oil

    TIA

Try goodgear in pasay city. The oem lamps will necessitate changing the "stick" control for the lighting. Oem lamps usually come with this. Bought mine online. You can check out sulit maybe there are still sellers of this product.

Hi Kia owners, as you may aware that our ride 2.0 crdi engine has an EGR that needs to clean every now and then. This EGR is giving me a headache since it is the cause of rough idling, engine surge, and loss of power. I have learned that Montero and Starex owners are blocking their EGR with a blanking plate to reduce black smokes and a cleaner engine. Since they have also a CRDi engines I think it could also be done on our CDRi Carens. What you think guys? Here is the sample blanking plate for our Carens.

Sir i replaced the clamp with a new one.. yung pang heavy duty. It costs around 60 pesos.
