Boss rna we just changed oem a/c and alternator belts, cost us 1, 230.00 for both at Jayson's. Tensioner is still okay so no need for replacement pa. For the front brake pads, we also bought the oem pero they said that there's 2 types. We bought the one with part number 98079104, do you (or anyone) have any idea if its the right one? We're planning on stocking it, kasi hinde pa naman palitin yung pads, so maganda sana if malaman if its the right one or not, para kung hinde we can replace it with the other one. Btw ours is a 07 Dmax, ,they said nag palit daw ng pads ang 08 Dmax.
Im trying to look at the parts catalogue but to no avail eh.
*bugoys: I am gonna look for my receipt when I get home, sir. I got my truck in July of '08. Napalitan ung brake pads ko ng Sept. of '12. Bagsik, almost 4 yrs!hehe Last na nagpa PMS ako, pina check ko and ok pa naman daw. Lately it has been squeaking specially in the morning pero nawawala din. So ipapa check ko baka it needs cleaning.
*bugoys: Sir, ito ung part number nung brake pads that Isuzu Commonwealth put in their receipt. Description: Pad kit, caliper. Part No.: P89805111700
It cost me 8,210.05 pesos.
Usual ang engine-braking, but within reasons, kaya hindi ako nag-pe-freno kadalasan.
sirs,
How old is your Innova 2.0-litre VVT-i chief?
Just remember that you're going for a unit (D-max 4JH1-TC) that has an engine that is already 4 generations behind of the current global D-max. We have had a 2004 D-max that's why i just said so chief. If i were you (kung ako lang naman), i won't swap your Innova if mas bago pa ito kaysa sa lumang D-max.... Non-CRDi and very diesel-like engine sound, unlike the 3 generation behind engine on the recent past-to-current Philippine D-max, which is the CRDi 4JJ1-TC standard.
Ang makina ng current Pinoy D-max natin sir, to be honest, luma na din ang engine dahil itong makinang ito may model 2004, tapos na-revised siya with a VNT/or VGS/or VGT noong year 2006.... Tapos muli siyang na-update in year 2011 for the model 2012 D-max that is sold abroad. It is the body and chassis only ng Philippine-D-max natin ang similar sa global D-max, but not its powerplant ahihi
2008 model paps yung Innove E.
Re the 4JJ1-TC standard engine lumabas ito noong late 2007 for the Philippine D-max. However since 2004 pa ito binebenta up until late 2006 sa mga ibang bansa (Thailand, South Africa, South America, Australia at New Zealand), both for the old Isuzu D-max and old Chevrolet or Holden Colorado at old Chevrolet D-max.
Re auto-tranny, can't say anything.
Boss, thank you. Replaced it already with the correct one, they gave me the older version, the precursor of the 4jj1.
Actually, halos parehas tayo ng situation. Once pa lang din napalitan pads namin, yung binili namin is for stock nalang.
Re the kalampag sa left rear (previous concern ko), I think we found out where the culprit is. It seems that the "tog" sound when turning left is coming from the left rear wheel bearing. We compared yung ikot ng left and right without the tires, drum brake cover and ramdam yung parang uneven rotation, or parang hindi pino yung ikot, parang may sabit.
Called the casa, they said, hindi naman daw sirain yung rear wheel bearing. But our hunch is yun ang problema, all bushings, shock absorber, tires (though medyo 40-30% tread life nalang) are okay, bolts are all tight and no lose thread. Lets see what will happen pag napalitan na.
Marami akong kilala na auto tranny ang auto and some of their cars are more than 10 yrs old too and ok naman, wala naman masyadong problem. Ang isa pang ayoko sa A/T is ung biglang ayaw na pumunta sa D from P kasi nag lock up.
In the end, regardless if it's A/T or M/T kung talagang pabaya ung previous owner, for sure sakit ng ulo ang aabutin ng buyer.
