To be honest, when one gets a D-Max (previous or current) it's a sure win. Resale value alone -- ika nga e, "Tapos na ang boxing!"

....To summarise, modelo pa rin pala makina ng D-max ko kahit released ito (for the Philippine market) noong late part ng 2007 haha! Sulit na Sulit LAVET LUFET!

The 4JJ1-TC (146 hp, 294 Nm) was plugged into the Philippine-issue Alterra as early as 2005. T'was only in 3rd quarter of 2007 that the same engine was mated to the Philippines-issue D-max

bukod sa looks,mas mataas at masabing "all new dmax" .hindi rin naman pala ako talo sa pagkakuha ko ng older dmax..ok na din pala at diko na hinintay.

Ang recent changes na nangyari sa Philippine-Dmax of today is what we may refer to as "The Mother of All Cosmetics" hehe

I-pinatern sa new looks ng D-max pero hindi pinalitan makina....

mga sirs good day po.im nearing to my 5k pms.tanong ko lang po ang normal na magastos ko sa 5k pms?depende din po ba ito sa kung saan casa mo ipunta, 2 kasi ung casa na malapit sa amin kaya lang same ang owner so malamang same din ang price range ..nag back read din po ako sa thread dito may nabasa po ako na may ka dmax tayo na ang ginagawa nya is bili sya ng parts sa casa then sa labas nya pinapagawa yung pms..hindi po ba ma void yung warranty incase magka problem sa unit?may free labor pa po nman ako ngayon sa casa so im planning na casa muna ako punta pero next pms po kasi wala na free labor... sa mga nabasa ko kasi medyo mahal mag casa sa isuzu....ano po pinaka best na gawin?any input will be a great help for me thanks..

I am not 100% sure but I think it's ok to bring the parts (owner parts) and have them perform the PMS and not risk void of warranty. Again, best you reconfirm this info.

Since you mentioned your concern of "void of warranty", if you so decide to have your unit done outside CASA from 10k PMS-onwards, definitely, void na ang warranty mo. I believe Isuzu CASA are competitive with regards to their labor charges -- provided that what they charge you is (indeed) the service your unit requires. There are cases (not necessarily an Isuzu dealer) where a customer would nearly faint in shock after seeing his bill only to learn that the service performed to his unit was either unnecessary or unadvised if not both. A clear case of miscommunication and/or incompetency of the CASA's technician.

alam ko po may ibang forum tungkols sa insurance dito pero ask ko nalang din po sa inyo mga sirs..kung i claim ko po sa insurance sabi kasi sa policy 0.75% ng value ng car or 3000 petpt whichever is higher di sila liable so kung ganon pano kung less than that ang maging value ng repaint shoulder ko lahat yun? wala pa po ako experience sa mga ganitong insurance claims.di ko po alam ang best way na gawin.

Regarding if you will maintain your vehicle in the dealership or outside, my take on this is if you have a reliable and trustworthy mechanic, mas ok kung sa kanya nalang. Wala naman pinagkaiba yan especially if it's only change oil. Bili ka nalang ng parts sa dealership if you still want to use OEM parts. Pag medyo complicated na ung stuff na gagawin, then dalhin mo nalang sa dealership kasi complete sila ng gamit.

Ngayon if you don't like the hassle of finding a good and trustworthy shop, then dealership it is. But of course, be prepared to pay more lalo ung mga simple job lang naman na pati pamunas, icha charge sayo.

Talagang nakaka stress pag sobrang OC and careful ka sa car mo. Kahit anong alaga mo diyan, it will get scratched, dinged, dented yan.

Kung konting gasgas lang naman, try if auto detailing can fix it, baka mas mura pa sila. Or you can do it yourself. We have an auto detailing section here, try to read there for tips. Try to run your fingernail in the scratch. If it catches your fingernail, most likely repaint na yan kasi malalim na.

Pwede ka din mag inquire sa mga car repair shops kung retouch or repaint lang naman. Some shops charge 2500 per panel. Tanong ka and ask for quote, baka mas mura pa kaysa if you will use your insurance. Imagine you will make an affidavit, pics, wait for the approval of the insurance, etc. Then you have to pay the participation. Baka mas mahal pa ung participation mo sa insurance kaysa idirecho mo nalang sa car shop.

thanks sir rna800 actually sir may trusted ako mekaniko sya dati nag maintain ng 2nd hand na hilander ko before kaso medyo sa mga lumang engine sya expert yung wala mga computer box at mga turbo pero syempre pag mga change oil lang kaya naman pwede pa nga free nya sa akin yun basta bili nalang ako oil at filter, yun isip ko lang po kasi baka masira yung warranty ko so baka nga tapusin ko lang yung period of warranty ng dmax ko tapos yung advice nyo nalang gawin ko pag complicated stuff nalang sa casa...

sa mga gasgas wala naman nga talaga ako magawa naka stress nga talaga kasi nga 1st brand new ko si dmax pero ayon sa mga nabasa kung ibang thread dito about insurance mas mahal pa nga gastusin ko pag idaan ko pa sa insurance so ill try to live with it nalang siguro tapos pag medyo madami na talaga at pwede pag tagpi tagpiin mga kwento dun ko nalang idaan sa insurance..anyway thanks sa mga info at word of wisdom..atleast nakaka bawas din talaga ng sama ng loob he he salamat po.

Make a private enquiry siguro sa kanila sir GreenThing (ewan ko din sino in particular).... In my case, i have not taken this direction of an increased wheel diameter so i can't comment really sir.... Be aware lang sir na mas tatagtag ang D-max mo as i commonly hear.... This is based on stock suspended D-max.

Meron na kasi akong existing 265/65/17 tyres that will come from my fortuner.. So im planning on using it sa dmax para hindi sayang.. My only problem is yung width ng mags & offset para sakto lang sa fender or 1" pop out

Must not be using wheel spacer/adapter..

Sa fortuner kasi 0 offset para sakto sa fenders..

Ive seen my friend's ford ranger & using 0 offset wont meet my expectations(sakto sa fender atleast)

Problem is no return no exhange policy from supplier(china) yung mags(pro comp or mabe tuff)

*nabig8: Ako sir, sa dealership pa din nagpapa service. Very convenient kasi, malapit lang sa amin and at least it's their own product. Unlike pag dalhin ko sa ibang shops, although I know they can do the same job pero hassle ung bibili ako ng parts then dadalhin ko doon or pag sila ung bumili, papatungan naman nila so ganon din. Pero ung change oil ko, kay Speedyfix kasi gusto ko ung RP oil.

Kung sa warranty naman, never naman ako nag worry diyan. Sa 1st 3 yrs of my ownership, wala naman akong naging problema. Ung after 3 yrs, may mga problems and major parts na ang napalita pero wala namang hindi naayos.

On those scratches, just turn a blind eye on them, sir.hehe Pretend you don't see them kahit sobrang noticeable and pwede ng maging logo sa laki.hehe Ganyan ang ginagawa lalo ung sa gilid ng bed ng Dmax ko, whew! ang daming scratches lalo pag ung kinakargahan ng mga kung ano ano. Kahit ung sa bumper ko, may mga chips and scratches na due to the stone and some scratches that I don't know where I got them. Hinahayaan ko nalang. Ganyan talaga.

Depende sa lapad na gusto mo! Kung 17x9 zero offset lagpas sa fender ng almost 1inch, kung 17x8 negative offset kailangan mo kung gusto mo labas sa fender! Kung sakto lng sa fender gusto mo plus 10 to 15 offset pero may sabit yan sa loob pag 9 ung lapad! Ung sakin 20x9 zero offset may sabit ng kunti sa loob pag full turn stabilizer ata ung tinatamaan

Kung sakto sa fender go for positive offset! 10 to 15 di na lalabas yan! Kung sakin mas ok ung 17x9 negative offset labas sa fender! Mas maganda porma sa pick up
