by the way my DMax is 2008 model LS..4jj1

I'm sure there are other comparable lubes suitable but I only use either BESCO or Isuzu MULTI-Z only on my Trooper. I don't want to take chances.

I have 2005 dmax LS AT. May i ask about my front disk brake pads. The indicator noise is now present.

1. What is the best brand?
2. Where can they be bought, best price?
3. where to have it installed?

Use OEM pads or Bendix. I believe Jayson or Walco have them aside from CASA.

Thanks sir Benz...mukang may point nga kyo sir. I believe mas mura pa ang besco instead of other brands. besides the fact that it is recommended by isuzu for their engines and they've tested them for sure. its better to use whats recommended by the doctor...ika nga..thanks again sir.

Wala available OEM brake pads for my 2005 LS dmax sa Walco, bendix lang meron. But due to backreading here sa threads, may possible squeaking sa bendix. So i went to isuzu pasig. COmplete brake pads P7,+++ minus discount so naging P6,+++.00 Then i went to Zafra pasig, installation was P480.00, done in 15 minutes.

Bought engine support na din sa isuzu, P4,+++ ang pair pero next week pa deliver.

Now my problem, kung saan pa-install ng engine support. BTW, my pickup is nearing 100,000kms so need na din change ng engine support, sakit sa kamay ng vibration sa steering pag slow riding. Any good but cheap shops for this mga gurus? thanks po

Bakit bigla n lang nag titrigger ang alarm ng dmax ko? Yung busina ang alarm nya diba mga bossing? Pinagawa na namin sa isuzu edsa qc, tapos pinapalitan nila ung parang black box ba yun? and dimension nung box na yun eh estimate ko eh 100mm x 150mm x 30mm naman ang kapal. Tapos sabi nung technician ok na daw yan. Mga 1 month ang lumipas, ayun na naman sya.. Bigla nalang trigger ung horn alarm nya. Minsan gabing gabi pa sya nag aalarm. nakakagising tuloy ng kapitbahay. Mga bossing ano kaya ang problem ? help pls

May napansin pala akong missing na goma dun sa driver side back door. Ung parang goma na napepress kapag sinasara mo ang pinto, namamatay ung ilaw sa kisame. switch un dba. Lahat ng door meron nung gomang itim na un, pero ung isang door sa left side back, nawawala un. hindi kaya un ang dahilan kaya siya nag aalarm>>??? ano kaya problema?

i have six liters of shell helix plus diesel plus hx7 pero 10w-30, yes its a 30 weight. i know 40 weight yun older model which i regularly use.

will still use it anyway even before ko nabasa na nagamitan din pala ng 10w-30 ang 4JH1.

will this lighter oil burn up (magbawas) more easily? any other side effects?

mga 120k kms, 50/50 city/highway driving.

Door Jamb Switch tawag dun. Basically, yan talaga ang nag titrigger for alarm to go off ( switch released when door opened with alarm still active). Back to your problem- Kun ala na goma, possible condensation from early morning dew sips in sa switch to ground the connection, kaya gabing-gabi kun mangyari. Try this, unscrew the screw(redundant) that holds the switch. Check the connection to make sure no wire fray. Get a balloon, yung smallest and wrap around securely (but not too tight) around the switch and screw back switch. Kun ala balloon, wag condom gamitin kasi may water soluble lubricant yun. Lalo na yung gamit na.
Observe. Also notice kun nagtitrigger alarm mo if park lights are on. If they are, brake switch mo culprit (alarm recognizes it as elec input that should not be). Change it

hello. pasensya na po newbie. i'll be doing the next change oil of my Dmax on my own. i'll use Castrol GT 15W-40 na oil. ano po mga tips na kailangan ko tandaan? and btw, the dipstick of my Dmax does not have any label except for two holes in it. tama po ba na ang lower hole is the low indicator and the upper hole is the full indicator? any oil level in between or preferably near the upper hole is ok?

Second time ko na magpapalit ng SCV in my dmax (1st one is under warranty) medyo mahal ung part, around 7k plus irerequire nila na palitan na rin ung fuel filter-1.4k plus and labor. Tinanong ko ung service attendant sa isuzu alabang kung madalas palitan ung SCV, sagot sa kin minsan 2yrs lang daw itatagal tapos iilaw na ulit ung check engine. May info ba kau or any advice to prolong the life of an SCV? TIA

sir try mo bumili ng parts sa jayson's then ipakabit mo nalang sa casa yung ma-save mo sa parts is yun na ang pambayad sa labor...the parts price is significantly lower in jayson's than in the casa

Sir every 5000 km ako nag papalit ng engine oil, castrol din un gamit ko sa dmax. About sa oil level dapat hindi kulang (below the low indicator sa dipstick) and hindi rin dapat sobra sa langis. 7 liters ung inilagay ko sa makina d ko sinusunod ung nasa invoice pag nagpa service sa casa w/c is 8 liters ang inilalagay nila. Replacement oil filter n lang ginagamit ko VIC ung brand ok nman mas mura pa. Tapos ung air filter palinis mo na lang using compress air sa mga service bay sa mga gasoline station, pag sobrang dumi na bili ka na lang ng bago around 500 pesos. Sana nakatulong

Sayang kasi ung 1 liter na oil sa casa magagamit pa sa next change oil... Kaya maganda na rin sa labas magpaservice nakikita mo ung gawa and at least pwedeng makuha ung langis if bibili tayo ng 2 x 4liter ng oil. Ung sa level ng oil dapat close to the full level ng dipstick wag lang sosobra, lunod naman sa langis ang makina pag over na sa full mark ng dipstick. 07' dmax ung sa akin, sakitin ung SCV ng dmax dahil ang dumi ng diesoline dito sa pinas hindi kaya ng filter.

Tanong ko lang kung saan ang location ng fuel filter ng dmax 2008 LS? Tsaka kung pwede ba DIY ang replacement niya, balak ko kasi magpalit neto ng more frequent kesa sa 5k to 10k PMS. Para make sure na clean ang fuel na papasok sa engine and iwas sira ng SCV (mas magastos). Or kelangan tlagang professional mekaniko ang gagawa neto dahil complicated sya at sensitive. TIA

Sir sa pagkakaalam ko nakakabit sa chassis (below the driver side) ang fuel filter... para cyang malaking baso na color ditry white/white ung lalagyan. Malalaman mo naman dahil wala ng ibang filter sa makina kung hindi air and oil (correct me if im wrong), and nakakaconnect sa kanya ung fuel line galing ng fuel tank. Gagawin ko na rin every 5000 Km ung pagpalit ng fuel filter, 1.4k sa casa pero may repalcement din nman last time i check Alabang parts center. Ang sakit sa bulsa ng SCV

Best that you have a shop with a Tech 2 do the PMS. Wala naman kailangan i-reset dyan (unlike BMW) but best to have the gadget assess the "brain" of the vehicle for peace of mind. (which is PRICELESS)
