D-max ng customer pinalitan ng DLS speakers na B6 model and kinabitan ng back-up sensor.

if its ok to ask... anong brand ng backup sensors yan? Plano ko rin maginstall. last time I left the dmax, my father used it and he had a hard time backing up. He accidentally back up and hit small car, basag yun tail lights. Sa dmax, wala nagyari tibay pala yun rear bumper natin

finally the "myth" about DMAX na hindi pedeng i-forde sa baha ay naprove na tutuoo!

one of the dmax of my office - experienced some water getting into the computer box kaya pala from time-to-time ito ay nag-eengine check at nas-stall...

I have asked the casa kung pedeng i-relocate ang computer box instead of the current puesto under the seat...we will know bukas kung pede.

So huwag nyong idadaan sa sa baha na aabot sa carpet area ang mga dmax nyo, else eto ang possible nyong maging problem....I heard na mahal ang computer box nito.

Hindi lang mahal...super mahal yan being the brain of our rides.

OUCH! Another downside yan ng Dmax. But I think fording floods that is carpet deep is already extreme knowing na mataas ang dmax natin. But then again, you'll never know. Badtrip talaga! Engot naman ng mga Isuzu Manufacturers and designers!

This exactly why Isuzu engineers positioned the box there in the first place; to discourage us from ever dipping it into deep water.

Just think, they could have placed it somewhere else but why of all dyan?

And if you try to relocate it, baka yan pa ang ikasisira nyan before you can even think of taking it for a swim.

It's all in Thai script. I'm still looking for the post I've seen before where they floored the new 2007 Ranger 4x4 3.0 TDCi A/T all the way to 192kph doing only 3,700 rpm. - awesome engine in that new Ranger!

The DMax is still a thai favorite.

Isuzu and other manufacturers never thought that the d-max will get stranded in deep water in traffic.

Even a Suzuki Vitara's ECU is inside the dashboard (just above the front speakers).

I guess you'll have to make up for this with the use of correct water fording techniques so that water will not enter the cabin and short the ECU out.

but then again, yung trabaho namin requires us to go to the farm owners if needed...kahit na deep ang water....check out Minalin, Pampanga pag nagrainy season...mababa pa tubig pag hangang tuhod lang.

anyway, I will surely want that computer box relocated. loko mga ahente kong nag-didrive nun eh...

If ever you succeed in relocating the ecu of your dmax, please post info nalang for us here.

As for me, pag umabot na ng tuhod, hindi ko na itinutuloy. intayin ko nalang bumaba (but then again, you'll never know when you have to go thru it right?). Pero pag below knee level naman, sinusugod ko na kahit na alam kong may alternate routes..its payback time ika nga (just getting myy money's worth)..hehe

salonika- heard before Intersys powered subs, its really flat available siguro sa winterpine, for me ok na tunog niya, kaya lang safari yung car dont know if sa pick-up if ang sound ya ok din. May DLS 6" sub with amp combo na, we might be doing a install on a d-max if ma push thru ang demo namin sa isang mall dito sa amin.

From your message it sounds like you have a shop, kindly provide me your contact numbers too, I might be dropping by your shop for some audio job. I also like the backup sensors, very practical.

Exactly. pushing through high water usually is not a problem for the Dmax but then I just can't help the thought of something going wrong like getting stuck because a tire is in a hole that you never saw coming since its submerged

The photo below was taken by my wife during a camping trip when my Max was only two months old(!). This was only the start of the river, when it got deeper as we moved further down, we had to cancel the other shots because I had to floor the throttle para hindi kami pasukan!

I visit the dmax kanina...grabe dried putik under the carpet...flashflood effect from UPLB during Milenyo typhoon.

Anyway, hindi pede basta-basta mai-rerelocate and computer box...UNLESS you splice the wire to extend it. Ang problem if you slice it...merun ka pa rin risk for some short circuit pagpumasok ang tubig sa loob ng sasakyan because merun pa rin ibang contacts. It seems all the wires of the dmax meets dito sa computer box so back to the drawing board ang option to relocate the computer box.

I'll try to go back bukas or nextweek to see how the wiring was configured sa flooring...kakalasin nila for interior detailing kasi. Hopefully this would give us a better idea how to relocate the damn computer box.

I'm still keeping my fingers cross na hindi na damage ang computer box nung dmax....ang laking gastos kasi nito.
