Wildthing,
Kaya iyun although sarado yung pick-up during the flashflood, the mud managed to sip inside (underneath the carpet). Putikan ang buong flooring underneath.
Pero prior to that (mga mid this year), that same pick-up started to stall - engine check lights up and idles high pero if you press on the throttle no response. First diagnosis nila the TPS (throttle sensor) was defective...napalitan ito through waranty claim...before millenio...pero it did not improved....ganun pa rin.
Ang duda ko tuloy the other ahente (who resigned) who was initially using it ran it sa baha na malalim (which was also common in Nueva Ecija around middle of this year)...at duon pa lang baka pinasok na ng tubig yung connectors ng computer box...miss diagnosed lang na TPS yung problem...
Hay....buti nalang hindi dun sa service ko nangyari yun....wala na sa waranty yung DMax ko pa naman (we have 3 dmax sa company - yung problematic lang was the newest - barely 8-9mos now, isang LX model). The other 2 are LS models and the one I'am officially using is the oldest...late 2004 model pa.
Wildthing,
Please update us nalang. I hope everything turns out well.
Guys,
Please refrain from fording high water levels nalang muna just to be safe...
dati binaha ko dmax ko. Mga above knee level. SA Quirino AVe. papasok ng dlsu. Ayos na ayos naman.
May observation ako guys, hindi ko alam kung mata ko may problem or what.. minsan mataas dmax ko, minsan slightly naka nose drop, minsan mababa harap and likod. Dahil ba to sa suspension natin?
Jason,
Ganyan din ako ka-praning. Let it pass or you won't be able to sleep..hehe.
Depende lang yan sa point of view mo. Parang camera yan.
Jerb,
AFAIK pareho lang. Why are you asking? Ang pagkakaalam ko the flexride system started cy2005.
AT owners:
What did Isuzu do to your AT dmax during your 20tkms.
TIA.
[QUOTE=Djerms;685483]Jerb,

Djerms,
kasi ginamit ko yung brandnew '06 dmax ng bro ko iba yung ride compare sa akin na '04 sabi nya kasi dahil flex ride na pero i counted leaf springs pareho lang ka dami but iba iba ang length specially the third one from the top.
maicompare nga yan...we have an LS 2004, LS 2005 and LX 2006 a friend also have the LS 2006 (chrome mags na LX mag style)...susukatin ko yun lift springs nila...
pero IMO pare-pareho lang ang ride nila...but I do play around with my tire inflation so that I have a better road grip and "smooth" ride...normally with no load I inflate my front 35PSI and rear 39PSI. Pero pagmeron akong load na more than 500kg I follow the recommendations as stated sa doors.
on both situation smooth ang ride ko....matagtag pag nakafull load air ang gulong ko tapos walang karga...kailangan i-airdown ko.
BTW, kahit ganyan ang style ko the airload my stock tires are still in very good condition (more than 1/4 inch thick pa ang thread) and it is already past 2 years old (with 47T km).....hassle nga eh wala tuloy akong alibi to upgrade the tire soon....I wanna buy a 265/70 (or 75) R16.....yung 31" OD na gulong...hehehe
the only difference man lang sa ride na wala yung spring kick nya.....but yung pinaka gusto ko sa '06 ls yung HU na jvc kasi ipod ready na compare sa akin na 04![]()
Anyone tried replacing the stock Bridgestone tires with other brands? Are there "softer" tires available for the D-Max?
jerms,
Jason,
Sige please pakipost. Would appreciate also if you can post the prices of the fliuds and parts replaced:
1. Differential oil
2. Coolant
3. Power steering
4. ATF
5. Brake fluid
6. Air filter
7. Fuel filter
8. Oil filter
Papost na din labor cost of the 20tkm checkup.
hehehe...sorry ha dami request. Maraming salamat.
About nitrogen in tires. Do a search. May thread na niyan dito. AFAIK, you will feel the benefits lang if you travel mostly on highways at high speeds.
sorry to tell you this pre, but old school technicians cant be a good technician sa dmax natin kc new generation diesel engines yan.... hinid lang kahit sino maka ayos niyan like the old diesel engines... yup mahal nga ang casa but the technicians there has been trained regularly by IPC... hindi na basta2x and mga engine ngayon.... you could request naman cgruro sa casa mo just to do a plain change oil but never miss the every 20k kilometer general check-up.... thats the most important PMS(Preventive maintainance service) sa dmax natin... meron nag pa ayos d2 ng dmax sa iba pinga gawa.. ngayon maraming prob... sayang....
