sa akin yung smooth ang pag turn is the aircon temperature knob (hindi ko pa natatanong kung normal ito).

btw, been reading this site's posts from dmax owners, first post ko ito. from manila and my ride is a 2005 black dmax 4x4, wala masyadong borloloy except hood visor, bedliner, roll bar, stock mags pero r16 70 270 na dunlop ang gulong (naka lift narin para hindi sumayad) and pina nylex leather seat cover ko narin siya.

sounds is still stock (hu is single din pioneer na wma/mp3 player narin). i like yung set up na nakita ko dito, yung avt subs. nice talaga. maybe next project ko yan.

uunahin ko muna pakabit ng pace edwards na roller top, family man kasi, kaya pag may biyahe hirap sa mga bagahe, laging lingon ng lingon baka ma snatch ang mga gamit.

sige, i'll post some pix. pinagawa ko sa mg square (otis branch, i think they have one also in araneta corner amoranto st). my cousin's had one made for his 2003 altis, nung labas palang sa kasa, until now 4 years later, ok pa yung fit and yung leather (u.s. leather palang yun) 3,000 pagawa niya. kaya nung nakuha ko dmax ko pagawa ako dun. and the owner told me meron silang bagong leather its branded as nylex (kita sa likod ng leather yung brand ala 3m sa tints) pag u.s. leather 3,600 yung set, itong nylex 5,000, i chose nylex, mag two years na this may 2007, ayos parin. the fit looks good.

i'll try to post some pix by tomorrow.

maganda nga black pero gasgasin, my colleague na nka maroon na ls 4x2 na dmax, sisi din sa kulay. sa line of work namin lagi kasi sa province and dirt road, bilis halata yung gasgas, kaya pa rub ng pa rub pag galing biyahe.

pero pag sa porma lang, ganda nga black. btw, grabe mahal pala papintura ng dmax sa kasa 70k....

To disable the airbag...ang sabi ng CASA technician ko ay kalasin ang SRS Fuse in the fuse box. Use the white fuse remover to remove the fuse and use the fuse guide in the cover to determine where the SRS fuse is located... .IMG]

thanks, good buy talaga sya. sorry yung receipt nasa house. nasa office ako. i will post it pag nakita ko.

pero the shop is in paz guanzon (otis st) if you are coming from nagtahan bridge, nasa right sya, just after the ford casa. the shop is directly across the old coca cola plant. it also has a car detailing shop along with the seat cover store.

may 1 year warranty sya for tears tapos anytime na lumuwag, pwede na nila i-readjust for free.

price ranges from 3500 (for the german leather) to 5000 (nylex branded leather).

ayus dun, altis ng pinsan ko 4 years na ok pa.

you can try the other leathers. same din ang fit. yung sa altis ng pinsan ko u.s. leather yun 3,600 lang. the fit and longevity is the same. the sales talk lang ako sa nylex na yon. hehe, tsaka nag ka taon may pera ako nun. kaya go ako with the branded thing.

Wag ka sa casa magpapinta, di mo alam baka i-subcontract din lang nila sa mga pintor sa labas yung auto mo.
P70K? Sobrang mahal nun! I have a friend who was quoted P45K for a complete washover on his '97 Strada at The Wet Look shop of the Tuasons. Try mo doon o sa ibang independent paint shops, at least yun talaga ang specialty nila.

I have decided kasi not to get a new set of rims since I realized that our stock rims are "timeless". Say, will it be possible if I order nalang a set of your leather covers from that shop, ako nalang pa fit here coz nasa province ako eh. Pls. post nalang their phone no. so that I can call them up.

hindi casa ito, sa kakilala ng pinsan ko sa bulacan ang gumawa, for the front, they just adjusted somethings (sorry not very technical din), sa likod naman they replace the stock shackles from a shorter one to a longer one para ma stretch yung leaf springs to increase the lift/height. so cost ko lang yung shackles and labor.

yun lang nga, to be honest, medyo unstable sa turns (pag mabilis patakbo sabay liko). buti nalang, medyo hindi na ako maiinit sa hatawan, kaya ok lang.

i dont know kung magkano sa casa. i was lucky nga na i still got to claim warranty for 1 shock absorber last week (nalubak ako sa bicol trip ko), the s.a. did not comment on my lifted dmax (warranty buster dapat). lusot.

my next project is to change the shocks and steering damper to ome and the pace edwards roll top. pm ko nga si arb kung how much. baka kailangan mag ipon pa. hehehe

thanks for that comment, as much as possible i want to stay stock. except if it can really give you extreme performance improvement (ie shocks and etc.) even for the seat covers, the design i chose was to tell the shop to just follow the lines of the original seats, no bulk up foam , buttons etc.

sorry about the tires, nahingi ko lang sa isang kakilala, medyo old na, just wanted to see how a 270 r16 70 will look and run, ok naman. i guess nasa vicinity ng 5300 - 5500 per wheel.

i am in the province right now, the receipt is at home, i'll be home by friday. i'll post the phone once i get back. i guess, papayag yun, you will just have to have an agreement regarding payment.
