.... A freaking 2 inch screw wasn't properly tightened - goodness!. It's so hard to fathom that such a screw, that is so visible prior to putting the engine cover was overlooked.

adjusting screw yata yan sa belt tensioner. nagpalit siguro ng belt at hindi na naitighten ng tama....kasi pati yung screw ng bearing ay hindi rin nasikipan.

anyway, we (my company/officemate) who also had his dmax serviced at Quezon Avenue na Isuzu (yung malapit ba sa EDSA) also had an unpleasant service experience sa casa na iyun.

nuong napapacasa pa ako ng dmax ko, I was fairly satisfied with the isuzu pampanga (sn fernando, pampanga) branch. i think inteco rin eto pero mas may dunong yung service crew nila.

Based on the receipt, I didn't see any belt being replaced. Maybe they removed the belt but forgot to tighten it. As I've said, upon removing the engine cover, that screw was already visible and was about to fall, about 3 more turns and it's out. For the belt, it was really wobbling and the mechanic noticed it right away when the hood was popped. Good thing I didn't bring it to IQA for checking or else I wouldn't have know what's the real cause of those sounds. I don't think they would divulge information that would put them in the hot seat and perhaps in the end, that incident will be blamed on me. I am just lucky that I followed my instinct and brought it to my trusted mechanic instead.

What kind of unpleasant service that your friend experienced in IQA? Oh well, I guess we all have our own share of unpleasant service with dealerships.

That's a beautiful and mean looking Dmax he got there. For me, about 17" or 18" would be enough.

18 would look gud sa dmaxmo pre... bsince 4x4 yan.. putting a 20 is not really a good look or combination... 18 with 265/70 or 60 would do... meron ako d2 4 sets... used sa trooper namin.. just used it for 6 months and now its on storage sa bodega ck binibenta namin ang trooper... heheheh.... maybe ur intrested... hehehehe...

Not sure kung meron na nito sa thread, pero tanong ko lang po kung ano consumption niyo? Sa kin po mga 7.5km/li. malakas po ba yon o OK lang?

Isa pa ho, I wanted to change the horn kaya lang when I removed the grills, medyo makipot yung space between the grills and radiator. Gusto ko sana ipalit Bosch na famfaren (di ko alam kung ano model nun pero tunog pang benz). ano ma suggest niyo kung san ko ikabit?

Lastly, aside from Carryboy, meron po ba kayo alam na bilihan ng truck bed cover? Pati na rin cargo net na swak sa size ng truck bed?

Mga pare tanong ko lang kung ano tire pressure nyo sa DMAX nyo kapag unloaded, di ko kc alam kung ano eh. Ayoko sundin yun 29 front and 41rear. Tumawag ako sa Isuzu recommended nila 35 ( front and rear na yun). Ano ba talaga tama?
