tappets should be adjusted on 40K Kms. pero ako almost 53K Kms na di ko pa pinapa-check yung valve clearance. maybe later. wala pa namang obvious na problema e. tsaka, it's a diesel- it is supposed to be a hardworking, heavy-duty, low maintenance machine.

adjusting the valve clearance is like having a tune-up for diesel engines. sa casa dito everytime you have your oil changed they clean the sedimentor as part of the job.

Ako hindi ko din pinapaadjust ang clearance unless maingay na talaga. oks lang yan. Hehe.
Yung sedimentor hindi ko din pinapagalaw. hahaha.

pwede rin 2dmax... specially kung hindi parati na full tank ang ride mo... it would develop kc moisture sa loob ng tank.... lalo na sa weather natin d2 sa pinas.. its just a preventive measure naman.... just loosen the plsatic screw ng konte and the fuel will bleed na... you will know that tapos na kc wala na tutulo talaga and start your engine and slightly depress the pedal para malagyan ng fuel ang sedimentor...

guys, huwag niyong patagalin ang tune up ng ride niyo..pwede naman evry 10k yan... it would make clearances sa valves mo aside from the clearance ng tuneup... marami na kami na service na fuego and hilander matagal magpa tuneup kc super ingay na daw ang engine nila. hindi na mwala sa tune up kc mejo worn out na yun valves nila....

Dati nung naka-L200 pa 'ko, every 5000 km PMS pinapacheck ko yung valve clearance. Napapakamot na lang ng ulo si suking mekaniko pero willing naman siya dahil sagana siya sa tip mula sa kin at nakabantay ako sa kanya the whole time. Kulang na lang punasan ko yung pawis na tumutulo sa gilid ng mukha niya.
