sir, mag fit naman ang 265/70 sa dmax but expect a bit of decrease in fuel consumption lalot 4x4 or off road tires ilagay mo, those tires are heavy and matigas hilain kung nasa road kayo, looks good though... hehehehe... just stick to raidal tires parin but a 265/70 size would do

what im really waiting for is that IPC would bring here to the philippines the newest series ng engine ng dmax natin... thailand has a 3.0 crdi engine with around 165hp or more... now thats what i call an engine.. malaks na nga ang 146hp ngaun.. how much more the 165... kahit yun old non crdi dmax na 3.0 130hp ay malakas narin and aabot ng speeds upto 170kms/hr...

    master's

I plan to trade in my isuzu crosswind XUV 07 a/t. For a nissan navara 4x2 or Isuzu Dmax LS 4x2 2009. Can you guys give me tips why the dmax is better than the navara? what isuzu dealer gives you the best value for trade in? and tips in choosing. It seems mas malakas yung makina ng bagong Dmax sa nav. I do not plan to go rough roading ang reason ko is for business.

    thanks!

For me the only reason why Dmax is better than Navara is the 4x2 looks like the 4x4 already. Engine performance, I think it's just the same. It still depends on the driver. Test drive both of them and which ever suites your taste, go for it.

we got bedliner and side stepboard for additional freebies aside from the standard ones when we got ours last march... ito lang hiningi namin kasi these 2 accessories are way important...

meron nang new release na Dmax LS variant...

    leather upholstery
    standard side stepboard (new design)
    back-up/reverse sensors
rims for the 4x2 variant (same as the 4x4 variant pero hindi chrome)

    eto lang nadagdag...
    LS 4x2 M/T PHP1,085,000
    LS 4x2 A/T PHP1,146,000

LS lang nacheck ko, sorry hnd ko nakuhanan ng pic... na-bad trip kc ako that day because i was availing the hook-n-tie i ordered, hindi nag-fit sa bedliner (falcon liner ang tatak, free nung kinuha yung unit), tapos ang sabi sakin yun lang daw binibigay ng factory??? nagtaka naman ako bakit hindi terno yung supplied hook-n-tie sa bedliner we got from isuzu... kainis!!

meron ba kayong alam na shop where i can avail hook-n-tie na falcon din ang tatak, or anything na pwedeng mag fit??? it has this square-shape sa taas then semi-circular sa baba... i already checked carryboy pero malapad sa upper part...

thats good to hear that its built tough(which pickup in the market isnt?) we/ i just hoped that you shouldnt be too tactless in your post. it will create a feud. anyways if thats what you think that strada is just a tin can and also other pickup brands is panget its your opinion its your opinion. well for my opinion if youre really good dont share/post just in this forum, post in the mitsu or ford forum. anyways i believe all of us doesnt want to have an argument dito.
    peace!
good thing tibay ng dmax mo and nothing bad happened bad to you sa accident

Why doesn't Isuzu Philippines the latest? Are we really an unimportant market for them? In Thailand the 4JJI-TCX engine already produces 163 hp * 3000 rpm and torque of 360Nm from 1800 - 2800 rpm. Although I love my D-MAX, you can't help get the feeling that we just get yesterday's left-overs.

I have an 08 Dmax and yes, I experience it too both seatbelts at passenger side. It's kinda annoying at times especially if I am alone since I could hear that banging sound on uneven roads. It's really not a biggie though. I just arrange it properly and it doesn't make a sound anymore.

I just had the usual freebies plus the rain gutter/window visor and that thing that you spray under the chassis to prevent it from rust- I forgot what it's called. Also, my agent was able to give me the maximum discount which was 35k at that time. I also inquired with other dealers, but my agent in Isuzu Q. Ave gave me the best offer.

I am not sure when are they going to release the all new Dmax but I when I was browsing the Auto Industriya website, in the 2009 Bangkok International Motor Show link, I saw the Dmax Platinum Edition. It looks WOW! Here is the picture:

I totally agree. This is what I wanna see. With the hp and torque that the current Dmax has, it's already considered strong, how much more if you put 20 horses more plus torque in it. Anyways, we should always remember that pickups are not meant for racing.
