went up to TOPs yesterday, for those who have been there im sure u know the inclines of the road and im quite pleased with my truck hehe enjoyed the drive and enjoyed the view. hmn why dont we dmax owners meet up there sometime for a beer and bbq? hehehe

Just to say hello everyone and to let you guys know that I've been enjoying(and learning) a lot from this thread. No probs with my dmax so far except for that irritating squeeky sound from the right side of my dashboard...Good day everyone!!

to those up had audio upgrades.... guys, nagpalit pa ba kayo ng battery? did you guys also installed a capacitor?

For the record, I played my current upgraded system for 5 hours straight last weekend, after which one click start, ok pa rin. I have a 1 farad cap (Lightning Audio) from my other car but never really installed it since there's no need for it for my maliit na set-up ko ngayon particularly the subs.

jarhead - hindi natuloy yung new HU that my sister promised, something came up eh .

kagagaling ko lang ng aparri. grabe, sobrang layo! talagang stable ang ride ng dmax. ang lakas humatak khit very steep ang mga slopes sa mga bundok, trisera ang gamit ko kayang-kaya talaga. next road trip would be bohol :P

on the way papuntang aparri (18 hours):
bulacan-nueva ecija-nueva viscaya-isabela-cagayan valley (aparri)

pauwi na (20 hours):
aparri-ilocos norte-ilocos sur-la union-pangasinan-tarlac-pampanga-bulacan

ako lang mga pre nag-drive. hindi na ako nagpapalit para endurance test din. overall 1400 kms ang biyahe. sarap talaga na medyo nakakapagod na may kasamang antok. lakas talaga ng DMAX, very stable ang ride and car-like comfort ung shifting ng mga gears ng DMAX, kaya comfortable ang biyahe. 5 nga pala kami so gumanda rin ung bounciness ng ride. hehe

next roadtrip: BOHOL, SAMAR, LEYTE, CEBU, AKLAN.. hehe, hopefully mga december para malamig..

kami naman huli na namin dinaanan ung ilocos para swimming sa pagudpod. sa cagayan una kaming nagdaan. hindi na kami nag-stopover. 4 hours lang rest namin sa gasoline station sa bandang isabela then tuloy tuloy na ang biyahe, hinahabol kasi namin ung kasal ng kawork ko. nung pauwi naman, stopover kami sa vigan para pasyal sa heritage places then non-stop na namn ang biyahe..

marami dun pre na small hotels or mga motel. madadaanan mo kasi ung mga sentro mismo ng mga bayan so marami mapagpapahingahan dun lalo na sa bandang vigan, ilocos.. san ka ba pre manggagaling?
