Ah ok, but I heard the Dmax LT has a turbo charged engine, is this the same with the fuego? how about handling and maintenance, wala ba masyadong pagkakaiba? kindly advice, thanks and more power!

The engine is basically similar to that of the Sportivo.
Maintenance is again basically the same as that of the Fuego, both non-CRDI.
Btw, why not consider the LX or LS model. Mas better performance and power than the LT. Kung pang-business and you really insists na Isuzu pa rin, then a late model Fuego might very well do the job at almost half the price...or get a pre-owned unit of the initial models of the current generation...yon 3.0L TDIC not the Iteq engines they installed of late.![]()

Hey, im new to this, my dad has an '08 Dmax 3.0 turbocharged and im planning on giving him 3 pairs of HID lights as present. the high beams, low beams and the fog lights. the thing is that i live in the US and he in dominican republic and i dont know the bulb code. could anyone help me with this?
hi guys! can i butt in in this forum? i am planning to buy a new truck hopefully by the end of the month, but im torn between dmax ls and strada glx. my first choice was strada but due to lots of issues, im now leaning towards dmax.
sir Denver Max or to anyone who drives the 08 dmax, could you please inform me on how is your ride so far? have you noticed any problems like the ones in strada wherein the truck is higher on one side or vibration in the steering, etc or have you noticed any problems at all? thanks!

Sir the ride for me is good compared to other picktrucks in the market it has flex ride suspension. Relatively proportion in any "angle". has a lot of pulling power "tested". Runs fast 140-160kph depends on road condition and the driver hehehehe. So far a very satisfied owner here. dmax pwede pang farm pwede din pang city.

Really? I guess that would seal the deal. If I would ask you, in a straight road and both stock, what do you think is faster(4x2 category), strada or dmax?
with regards to comfort, it's good that it has a flex ride suspension but im currently driving a 10 year old car so im already immune in a jurassic suspension ride and im always driver or i always seat in front that's why im not really affected with it.hehe I guess i would really feel the difference if i purchase this truck.
Sir rna800 the best thing todo is schedule for a testdrive b4 buying. This will give you a chance to really know what you want in terms of sitting comfort ride and feel inside the pickuptruck advice para walang away hehehhe sama mo si mrs. para at least 2 kayo mag sasabi na ito na kunin natin =]. good luck sa truck hunting sir regarding sa speed sa dalawa sa tingni ko same lang nasa driver nalang ang diskarte sir running over 140kph sobra ok na yun it will definetly give u a rush pinag uusapan nalng kung ano talaga feel mo pag nasa loob ka like steering wheel dashboad control panels hehehehe like what you said ikaw panaman lagi gagamit try to compare nalang sir GL =]
thank you so much sir, on your insights and advices with regards to that truck. hopefully i could pick the right truck that best suits my taste. thanks again!
The earlier Dmax is equipped with a Zexel VP44 its electronic and similar to the Patrol. The later is common rail. Central Diesel has in stock remanufactured VP44(Patrol and Dmax) at a much much cheaper price and same warranty as the brand new.

Hey guys, going back to the aircon filter issue, here's my answer to it.
Went to an aircon service shop and bought a window-type aircon filter from a busted aircon and had it cutted to the exact dimension of our max input slot and whoah! 'Got myself a custom-made air filter!
Here's the pics...
![]()
^^ I thought you bought a whole window type aircon just to get the filter
NICE NICE!!I'll do the same just in time for my 20k PMS also known as 'The Big One' hehehe.
It still puzzles me why they didn't put in a filter for that thingvery minor naman ang cost nito.
Or maybe it's one of those trick challenges
.
Haha! Actually that was my old busted aircon bought by the service center as they can still use some of its good parts. They were simply too happy to give me the filter and installed it for 200 bucks--in 15 minIn your case maybe, you'll have to buy a whole new one
I have a new problem though. Just found out that two of my shocks are starting to leak. Just had my 35K PMS last week. Judging from the inputs I've been getting here, the average life of our stock shocks is about 2 to 3 years, tops. Mine is 2 1/2 years.
Planning to shift to OMEs in a month or two. So calling ARB...meron ba tayong stock dyan? Cguro ang fronts lang muna..![]()
Yup, that's the average lifespan of stock shocks.
So in the meantime, you can use my 'months old' stock shocks that I haven't been using since I got my OMEs. Sayang naman, its just sitting in my bodega lang.
Text me lang when you want to get them
