For me, any sales agent who gives you an open ended answer like "might" or "maybe" in relation to the product he is trying to sell you is irresponsible. Especially in this case that your inquiry is in regard to warranty, an important after sales matter.

It means that he is not well versed with the product and the policies of the company that he represents.

^^ I agree. Will have to check out the other dealer here then. Maybe the salesman there is more responsible. hehe.

Just saw another new dmax yesterday. I dont know if its the 3.0 or 2.5 version but it seems a bit low ah.

This is my DIY reverse light. The lamp is HELLA COMET 550 using H3 bulb. The lamp automatically lights up during reversing but only during when the parking light is switched ON. other words, hindi i-ilaw while reversing when the parking light is switched OFF.

I used 2 relays to do this. also naka-ready ang wiring ko so puede manual switching mode so puede ko pailawin kahit hindi ako umaatras. ang problem lang is nanghihinayang akong butasan ung sa engine bay to route the wire papuntang dashboard..

I like your wiring system, smart. Yung wiring na papuntang dashboard, di ba meron naman tayong default na wiring hole going to the engine bay with rubber seal beside the steering column?

I think nakita ko yung gusto ni x_jason_x kagabi sa isang movie; the setting was in Europe and an SUV (Land Rover ata yun) was backing up then yung back-up lamp nya na sobrang lakas was inside the taillight housing, parang projector type.

top speed lang kasi ang basihan ng discussions sa ibang thread. not knowing that pick ups are not meant for racing or top speed but for its reliability and robustness on which other pick ups are lacking..

yup tama ka 2dmax.. kung makita mo ang cross member ng dmax.. malaki and makapal din dats why its been used by the colorado dito sa US... kung makita noy lang ang colorado d2,, ang laki.. mas malaki pa sa dmax natin and heavier pa....

meron nga ako nabasa sa isang preview about the chassis ng hilux kc its also been used sa fortuner... and the prob was that the chassis twisted kc the fortuner was used for off road talaga... dontknow lang kung wer but it was used literally for off road, maybe construction or wat ang gamit....

with all the crdi units i wonder how much mga PMS nila.

back in 2004 when we were comparing pickups may talk na about hilux crdi, but we went ahead with the dmax. we believe its a good balance of old reliable engine (at user servicable instructions ay nasa manual pa) with a bit of new tech sa ECU and complete safety devices.

true enough the toyota 2.5 crdi had issues in the beginning. and the cost of a dmax 4x2 LS is equal to a low riding 2.5 hilux w/o ABS and intercooler.

    need help and advice on the ff;

    http://www.usrack.com/hawaiian_sawhorse_rack.sht
    http://www.usrack.com/utility_rack.shtml

or anything similar. purpose is to be able to carry wood boards and planks.

also does anyone know the correct size and model of monroe shocks to fit a stock dmax. for replacement lang.

    thanks

Is that the strada na nahulog sa may Bukidnon sa Cagayan? One of our suppliers told me this last month that there was a 4x4 model na nahulog doon, shallow ditch lang beside the hi-way pero medyo malakas daw ang impact.

When they pulled it out, naiwan ang engine like it got yanked from the mounts. He said the engine separation was due to Mitsu's "breakaway design" when the car is subjected to high impact collisions, sort of like energy absorbing.

By the way, just had an underbody wash and ang kapal nga ng chassis!

memps, dats a literal meaning of the "breakaway" concept.. hahahaha... saying dat doesnt mean the word literally... it means dat the engine breaks.. like the engine cover, the transmision, the drive shaft, etc and it goes under the car not thrown out like its been ripped off.. hehehe.. mas delikado yan kung buong engine matangal... pano yun hood? it would slam into the windshield if the engine would come off... hehehehe... or beak away din kaya yun hood? which is more dangerous kc baka meron ibang kotse or property madamage db? meron crumple zones ang mga rides natin and the engine engine is also designed na kung magcrash man ang ride it would break apart or it crumple to absorb the impact... but it doesnt mean dat not durable ang engines natin ngaun, it is durable but deisgned to be safe...

Bro good news.
