    guys,

this will be my next project: installation of reverse light on my ride. For now I'm thinking of installing IPF 816 Reverse/Camp Light Kit. It has an automatic switch which functions when your car is in reverse mode and a manual switch which you could simply on/off the light to be used for lighting purposes.

sa rats4x4 kaya meron nito? kaso medyo mahal nga lang, 4k-5k php. konting ipon pa. hehe

IPF sure is a good brand...pero why not consider a "generic" fog lamps instead? It wouldn't reach P2000 kung generic fog lamps with wires, relays and switches...tapos dalawa pa yun.

It would be very easy to install - with a relay, the sensor "switch" is connected to the reverse light so pag may power or nakareverse ang kambio it would power-up the light.

You can also opt to add the independent switch para naman pagmayflood you can have lighted rear.

Ang tanong lang ay where would it be best to locate?

2dmax - PM ko lang to you. I'll be changing all four.

That's what I've been eyeing ever since I got a brochure from IPF. The problem is the mounting talaga. Di ko ma position ng mabuti eh besides the fact that the mounts have to be very secure since may kamahalan ang unit. I need a bright reverse light because super dark ang tint ko.

Maybe may mounting suggestions/idea ang iba dyan .

mahilig kasi ko sa branded na mga auto accessories (for example my apexi TT, bosch icon frameless wiper, 3M floormats, rhino linings, etc). hehe

the best so far is sa ilalim ng bumper. but it's also a critical area because during traversing a very inclined slope, puedeng abutin ung reverse light (crack ) hehe. isip isp muna if san ok ilagay and ipon then buy na..

what brand pre and where purchased? does it cast a shadow at the rear bottom of the bed because of the location of the light?

Went to the MIAS yesterday, saw the bare single cab D-Max without a cargo bed. So phased out na yung Fuego-based IPV?

Just for the heck of it (and after watching too many FBI/CSI shows) I have two strobes behind my grill, far left and far right, Blue and White. With speed and alternate blink control, as seen on T.V.! Although I would prefer what you also like; inside ng headlamps or foglamps .

I saw a black Dmax dito noong Fiesta last year that had those installed in the foglamps sa front. Ang lakas ng strobe kahit daytime kaya ang ganda tignan! I normally use them as daytime running lights when I travel sa hi-way, I feel that it's helpful especially if you want to be seen by oncoming (sleepy!) drivers. I know sa Luzon you need some kinda permit for that but dito sa probinsya namin ok lang, very helpful also if you want to make lusot out through tight traffic they think that your from the PSG or something.

...but not always, baka ma Goon Squad ako

Yan naman pala eh, simple solution 2Dmax, subukan mo muna to, malinis pa ang rear mo.

ARB, pwede paki PM or text mo muna sakin if how much, baka di na magkasya ang budget ko, remember, I promised na sagot ko snacks hehehe!

...as we can see, lotsa space pa between the top of the unit and the seat cushion/frame.
