It was difficult for me & my husband to decide on what color to choose too. We thought of getting the superior red (a top priority then) or silver. Superior red because of its unique color & ***y looks. Silver because it is easier to maintain & unnoticeable scratches . We had a silver rav4 before so we decided to try other colors for a change. I was disappointed though when I saw a superior red at the casa that had a very dull color because it was not well maintained (was not a pretty sight for me back then & was a major turn off for me na - hindi kasi inaalagaan ng owner sa wax). Plus may bangga pa at the rear bumper. After 3 weeks when we came back to the casa to get our unit, the red SF was still there.

Guess what color we ended up buying? BLACK SF. Yes, it is really hard to maintain but it is one ***y beast. A head-turner too. When we had all the upgrades, sa parking pa lang ang dami na fans ni Fe. People would stop & stare at the SF for minutes & chit-chat with their entourage (probably discussing about the Hyundai models or upgrades). We were at Shell NLEX parking kasi e & they didn't know that we are watching them from afar. LOL! But they were staring at the SF with total admiration. I think the secret in maintaining dark colors is regular waxing & car wash lang naman. Husband ko kasi masipag mag-maintain ng car. Whatever color you choose, SF is still a beauty inside & out. If you really don't have time to maintain, marami naman carwash shop diyan e basta ba maingat carwasher mo at maganda gamit pang carwash. So dark colors & maintainance won't be a problem.

Other prob pa nga namin before e Fortuner ba or SF?! Pati pa pala color ng SF proproblemahin pa namin noon. Hay! I'm just glad we are over that now. We are truly satisfied with the color & overall performance of our new SF.

kami din we have the same problem choosing a color, nalilito din kami sa black& silver. we choose silver santa fe kasi wala na ako masyadong time mag maintain not like before kasi medyo busy sa work & rainy days na mas lalo mahirap maghanap ng time to clean the car& minsan nakakaasar kakalinis mo lang biglang uulan kasi yung silver namin santa fe once a week ko lang pacarwash minsan pa nga once every 2 weeks pa kasi parang malinis sya tingnan kasi di masyadong halata yung alikabok.tama sila ma'am & sir, pag may time ka to maintain get the black maganda talaga sya lalo na pagmalinis, superior red cool din kasi astig ang dating kasi parang black pagnasinagan na ng araw dun mo makikita yung redish color nya kung wala ka naman time sa pagmaintain choose between silver, titanium blue or gun metal. any color basta santa fe satisfaction guaranteed! thats the bottom line because stone cold said so! hehehehe! pasenya na very 90's no.

Actually,my Sta Fe (4x2) was able to pass i should say real offroads... early Jan. this year from Pagudpud to Banaue i have taken the wrong roads in Ilocos Sur-Benguet via "Pesang pass" Abatan-Mankayan-Cervantes Road... nun una maganda yung road, then part being constructed, then nasa gilid na kami ng bangin...I could not run more than 10km/hr dahil sa daan, hindi naman ako maka-ikot dahil walang space that make dangerous to turn around.. the roads up to Cervantes was not so bad but from Cervantes to Abatan was terrible. My wife was so quiet & even my 2 kids, alam ko takot na takot sila pero di kami pinabayaan ni "Angel"...(dati I call her "Fe") I thank God we arrive Banaue safely. Aside from broken plastic cover bandang harapan sa ilalim at fear of mountains ng misis ko eh wala namang ibang damage... Kawawa lang si "Angel" kasi nabugbog siya. If you love your Sta Fe wag kayo dadaan dun lalo na kung may heart problem kayo o ang kasama nyo... but if you really want to test yours it's a good experience
will try to post some pictures in near future.

    nagdown shift yan papi

It does not need a 2.5L of starex engine to compete with 3.0L of fortuner and pajero. The 2.2L can run with the best of them, its performance figure and real world performance is at par with them.

I agree with sir TFR and may I add, aside from that surprising power that comes out from a 2.2L engine, it's more fuel efficient compared to 3.0L of fortuner and pajero.

Magandang pagka design kasi at malapad.
