May concern lang ako, Lalo daw lalakas ang engine, kaso, di naman kaya lumakas ang consumption masyado?
I read the post of Sir C190 sa SF mods thread regarding availability of K&N sa Maspro-Banawe.
I called Sir Benjie at sabi niya baka dumating first stock niya ng K&N filter for SF this coming May. No price yet. – Abangan na lang natin. Nagtanong din ako sa Motorco who is the local agent daw ng K&N, unfortunately wala din daw silang stock na pang SF kasi bago palang. Sa ebay international the price is roughly $50. Sana competitive maging price ni Benjie. Maybe Sir C190 can keep us posted kasi madalas siya sa Banawe.

Are there any aftermarket replacements for the mirrors on the side mirrors. Looking at the overly magnified view made me dizzy.

Had mine since july, yung noise maybe more prominent than when it is new but still quieter than any diesel engine in the market if you listen from outside the cabin, but when you are inside you would hardly hear it.

    ano po ba yung autobahn?[/quote]

autobahn is a german word for a major high speed road restricted to motor vehicles capable of driving * least 60kph

GERMAN autobahn- recommended speed *least 130kph but no speed limit
AUSTRIA and SWISS have general speed of 130 kph...dito sa pinas ok sana sa nlex kaso may speedcam..pero si sir TFR yata yung tumakbo ng 200kph+ sa star tollway mas maganda dun kasi straight ang daan dun at malapad ingat lang sa mga tumatawid na aso at kambing

hello po, ask ko lang if who among the SF owners have completely read the manual? I mean the whole thing. I never had time to complete it kasi. As a guid for SF owners, what would you say are the important things we should remember para ma improve FC and mag tagal yung ride natin. I understand one minute cool off before engine shut down is one. Would you mind listing things you observe? thanks for all those who'll reply.

Some of the important things I recall:
    1. Care of turbo - at least one minute cool down (idling) before engine off.
    2. Fuel filter warning lights on - water in your fuel filter. Time to drain water from the filter.
    3. brake warning light - failure in brake system or brake pad is already for replacement.
    4. Tire inflation pressure - 30psi for normal load, 32 psi for full load.
    5. SF (4x2 or 4x4) is not designed for serious offroading.
    6. Front doors (driver and passenger) opens even when the lock is engaged. Not good for small children in front.
    7. Side mirror looks closer than actual for additional safety.

Good day fellow Stafeyers! I-share ko lang po my experience regarding brake light problem.
Yesterday on two occasions muntik nakong banggain ng truck at kotse sa rear end. Umiiyak ang
gulong nila sa pag preno sabay businang galit pa pag nagbrake ako . Di ko pinansin. When I got home, I checked the lights kasi I always make it a point to check all external lights during the recommended 1-2 min turbo cool down period. Ayun! I discovered wala pala akong brake lights. Dead lahat – Main brake lights, third brake light, pati rin yung dalawang brake lights sa bumper lights ko. – All Dead! :shocked2: No warning light din sa dash to alert me about this problem. All tail park lights are working naman. Spent a couple hours checking all the fuses, bulbs and brake wiring – no problem all in good shape. The owners manual was not much help kaya nag search ako sa internet until I came across some articles that pointed to the brake switch as the possible culprit. This morning I asked my driver to bring my SF to Hyundai Erod and they confirmed the problem. It’s the brake switch that became faulty. This thing is found near the brake pedal arm. It’s a moving contact switch kaya subject to wear and tear every time we step on the brake pedal. 15T km napo SF ko.
Papalitan daw nila ito coz under warranty however wala daw stock. Oh Tatawagan na lang daw ako pag meron na Papano ngayon yan? This is serious stuff. How can I drive safely without brake lights?? I then asked my driver to bring it to Sir Benjie of Maspro sa Banawe. He dismantled the thing at kinalikot po niya. In about an hour ayos na brake lights ko! Thanks to Sir Benjie! Did not even charge me a single centavo for it. Bumili na lang ako ng LED bulbs sa kanya as token of appreciation. We both know this is just temporary dahil remedyo lang and once I get the call from Hyundai for the replacement switch I will update you. Moral lesson: Always check your lights before kissing Fe good nite and in case of problems with Fe, don’t hesitate to call our friend and idol - Sir Benjie. Drive Safely Po mga ka-SF!

Good thinking for you. It pays to be on the safe side palagi. I mean it's very important to have all lights working. We do not want any trouble on the road and that safety should be everybody's concern. Buti na lang meron tulad nila Sir Benjie who are always ready to extend a helping hand. Thanks din sa heads up.

Thanks for replying. I will continue reading the manual from time to time to make sure I know how to take care of my SF.

doors open even when lock is engage (both front doors). this is designed for ease during egress. the same with the present mitsubishi strada. on strada however, this mechanism is only available on the driver side. just don't put your kids age 12 and below on the front.

btw, just have my first 1000 km yesterday and was serviced at hyundai gensan and going back to davao...no one dares comes close.
