how can you say nga bulok na yun. when it clearly had better value for money features compared to the TCI GS? if you put the two side by side im pretty sure the GRX CRDi would sell better than the TCI base model GS. first and foremost CRDI na ang makina..

Ang kulit mo eh di bumili ka nang JAC Refine.. Walang plans gumawa pa ang Hyundai nang lumang Starex(patay na nga yung production ng Starex Pro na sirain)..

Para saakin mas ok ang Grand Starex..

alam mo ba nga ang GOld starex mo is basically a base model CRDi that HARI has added some features to make it look different from the base model? well knowing your knowledge on the GS i guess you would know that already, and you would have compared it to the grey market dealers CVX or HVX GS versions.. once again just asking questions lang.

When we were shopping around for the GS, the gray market was not that significantly priced lower. We kinda played it well in terms of going to different Hyundai dealers and let them give us the best deal, then went to gray market sellers.

If you really need and van, I think the GS offers great value. The "gold" edition I guess are for people who would want to feel a bit of exclusivity. Jmho.

The gray market imports may not be priced significantly lower than the HARI versions, but it makes up for a lot more features compared to the HARI offerings, one of which is the glass mounted antenna, this is the one item that really made me go for the gray market, the roof mounted antenna on HARI units really look ugly, it sticks out like a sore thumb. Its been 5 months since I got our GS and so far I'm very happy with it and never regretted buying a gray market unit from Pitstop Motors.

So, why isn't HARI offering a glass-mounted anntena on their GS?

I am certain that this is one of the complaints on the GS from Day1......

i think sir because only the base models come with the roof mounted antenna, and when HARI dresses up the base models to become GOLD models they save on the conversion while getting more money from buyers.. this is my opinion.. feel free to be against my opinion.

i agree. the antenna is a bit weird. and many have called it abominable as you mentioned. i could have gone with the gray market as well but the 50K discount from HARI made me look the other way in consideration of the antenna.

I am worried about my city fc. Currently, what do you guys get? I am now at 4600kms.

Bro., are these still the rate of fuel consumption that you're realizing on your CRDi VGT (AT?) GS? My Gen3 TCI AT is logging something like 6Km/L City and 8Km+/L Hiway. What I am basically saying here is that the additional 500Kg on the new body definitely takes a toll in the rate of fuel consumption.

I am wondering how a TCI AT GS variant performs.....

50k isn't enough for me to look the other way around.
