Im a little worried about the 97 load rating as i sometimes load my starex whenever i go out of town. I usually pump in 38 psi front and 40psi at the back. Honestly ride comfort suffered from the stock 16s. Im currently at 37psi all around to minimize bounciness hehe.

Mga P3.6K sir. The 18s have a bit firmer ride than the stock 16s, though it's been too long since I've been on stock 16s so I can't recall the ride anymore.

Where did you get the sailun tires sir? Ang mura pala ng sailun. And would you happen to know if they have the 235/55-18 size? Masyadong mababa yung 235/50-18. Laging sabit yung rear mudguards sa parking stoppers ng mall.

Freddie's Tire Supply along Evangelista. Not sure if they have 55 series though. You can ask them (888-0394) na lang. Ok naman ang 50 series sa akin, it's slightly bigger than the Dunlop LM703 they replaced. What I don't like is the look of the 55 series on our 6 spoke rim design.

Bro, masagwa ba talaga yung 55 series? I was thinking baka mas ok yun since higher load rating? Sa 50 series kasi smaller yung overall diameter niya compared sa stock. And ride height is lowered a bit.

Ok bro, how about sa ride comfort? Mas ok ba itong sailun tires compared to your tire before na may 97 load rating? And what brand is that previous tire again?

Did not improve or worsen from the Dunlop LM 703. I'm on a cold 45 all around (instead of the 42 and 47 combo from before) for the last 4,000 kms+. Grip is ok naman, but they're a bit bigger than the Dunlops such that mas macho tignan. Baka kaya wala na akong ganang mag -55 series coz mas malaki sila ng konti.

I'm planning to buy a used GS VGT A/T, 2008-2012 model. What are the things to look out for in these year models? What are the differences from each year? Ano common na sira or expected to be replaced for this year models? Difference between the local and grey market? CVx from HVX? For example a 2008 with 40k odo ano dapat icheck ko to make sure I get a good buy. What is the right price range? TIA.

^have it checked sa casa, usually filters lang ang culprit. Maybe the fuel filter wasn't bled properly. Nag hard starting ba sa mornings if you don't use the van for quite a while?

i saw the fuel filter being bled when it was installed at goodgear. nadala ko na rin sa bicol and zambales after the filters have been changed and the PMS at hyundai. no hardstarting in the mornings. could be the air filter though but the goodgear guys said that the air filter they gave me is a good one. but you're right the filters are my suspects. makes me think now if my pagtitipid by going to goodgear is all worth it.
    thanks.

Try inquiring at Maspro in Banawe if they can source those tail lights for you.

hi again mga bro, i would just like to share to all of you my experience with my GS, I was driving alone yesterday from Angeles city to Manila, since I was alone, hndi nakaON yon rare aircon and since long drive, i noticed later on that the aircon is not that cold, which was very uncommon, but when i decided to engage the rare aircon, everything goes back to normal. LESSON LEARNED: Engage the rare aircon every now and then even if you r alone for optimum aircon performance
