Pinaandar after 2 days, iba na tunog parang may bakal na kumakalampag. Sa timog flyover naramdaman humina hatak kaya umuwi na kaagad sa bahay (fairview). Ayaw na humila pag dating dito at hindi na maakyat yung bangketa.
Baka hilahin ko next week sa fronte in banawe.

"Bakal na kumakalampag" = bell sound? That means loose pistons in the cylinder. Overhaul pag nagkataon.

Lots of starex engine parts in olx/carousel. Check and compare with banawe prices.

Nag overheat yung Starex namin the other day, hindi napansin ni misis yung temperature at pinilit iuuwi. Can you recommend good mechanics? Tumawag ako sa fronte initial phone guestimate 60k :-(

Are Dunlops any good? I'm using the SP Touring R1s of the 215/70R15 variety for the rear of my Starex. Seems quite pricey for tires.

Also any side effects of using various tire brands and size on the Starex? I got the unit second hand and due to various blowout scenarios I now have a Dunlop SP Touring R1s (215/70R15) for the rear while the front are a mixed bag of Federal Super Steel 657 (205/70R15) and Bridgestone R623 (205/70R15). Plus a China brand (Saferich 205/70R15) spare tire.

I think your right sir, its due for for shock replacement. Nagiipon lang at medyo malaki nagastos sa transmission actuator replacement.

Buti naman may ibang options na bukod sa Kumho at Nexen. Might try Michelins on our GS

Kaya naman pala 3 years lang bumubukol na stock Nexen, 6 ply lang pala yung stock, vs aftermarket na nexen na 10 ply.

Back up camera conked out. Can't charge to warranty since it was free (installed by casa by mistake and they did not bother to remove it anymore).

San meron murang back up camera? The connections at the back are the 4-pin type, not rca.

Madami nyan sa lazada search mo lang starex filter. Check mo model year nakalagay naman dun.

FC-017 yata pag Vic.
Mas mura yung FMC, andun din siya sa lazada.

Hello. Iam owner of GS 2014 CRDI 6 speed manual. I got my unit from Hancars. For manual it is equiped with WGT while VGT for automatic per Hancars brochure.

Sir, gànyan din back up camera ko, pero wala na warranty sakin, 6years na GS ko, need ko rin po replàcement. Patulong din po. Thanks

Manual crdis are a headache after many years na kailangan mo na magpalit ng clutch parts. Usually nasisira din ang fly wheel. Dami ko kilala na ganyan problema ngayon
