Just to add to yebo's list, have the caliper sliding pins cleaned and re-lubed with silicone brake grease.

You can also have the EGR, intake manifold checked. If they’re clean the previous owner most probably had it cleaned before.

All others kaya ng gas stations.

Btw, part lahat yan ng 40k km pm. So review the pm records baka naman nagawa na nung 40k km service. But of course for your peace of mind di naman masamang gawin ulit lalo na malapit na din 60k km service ng gs mo.

You have a point sir, might as well have it done for peace of mind.

Sir for below, what do i need to buy if i already have a mechanic to do it?

    2. Flush brakes

    4. Flush cooling system

    5. Change power steering oil

For atf, needed talaga sir yung dialysis method?

Thanks for your inputs sir, really appreciate it!

Drain and refill lang for atf at every 40k kms. Thats fine. Leave dialysis for ultra long atf changes.

Safe to say, atf, buy from casa or consult ur manual. Ok lang expensive fluid, long change intervals naman.

    And better safe than sorry.

Consult your manual what are the required fuids. Pero sa brake dot3 or dot4 lang yan. Higit 1 liter magagamit for proper flushing so bili ka 1 liter plus 250ml. Sa power steering same fluid as atf.

Sa transmission check the color. Pag dark redish brown na pa-dialysis mo. Pag red pa naman ok lang drain and fill.

Only way to check the egr unfortunately is to dismantle and have a look.

To satisfy my curiosity i checked under our GS last night. May DPF nga. Its approximately below the front passenger seat. Looks like a catalytic converter na pang gas engines.

Meron hyundai fs oil sa Lazada, Hyundai XTeer Diesel Ultra C3 5W-30 fully synthetic oil for P1950 for 6 liters or 7 liters + oil filter for P2670. That is only P325 per liter, very reasonable for a fs oem oil.

Hindi pa, everest kasi ride ko until last November. Kakabili ko lang ng GS ulit so under warranty pa and using casa oil. My previous GS (2010 model) i sold in 2016 but i used Zik oil.

Motul?

Im planning also to upgrade the low beam into Osram either Nightbreaker Ultimate or Laser Next Gen.
It took a long time but last week I finally gathered the courage to use a pair of pliers to turn the damn bulb holders. So finally i was able to replace the stock low beam bulbs with the nightbreaker laser bulbs. And last wednesday and tonight i was able to test. Ibang-iba ang buga from the oem. Whiter, much brighter and definitely much farther throw. Kung sa dati nasa mga 60 meters lang yung maliwanag (i have 3m dark tints on the windshield) now i'd say about 100+ meters na. And i think it could go further if i adjust the aim. In addition ok din ang cutoff nya, well defined and no apparent glare.

I had that in my santa fe and it was the best halogen bulbs i've ever used. Definitely more than 150% more light and twice the distance than the oem halogens. Sadly i've been searching but could not find. I got them from Maspro in banawe but they don't have it anymore.
