2008 Hyundai Starex (Gen. 4)

It took a long time but last week I finally gathered the courage to use a pair of pliers to turn the damn bulb holders. Super tight talaga ang bulb holder ng facelifted unit headlights. So finally i was able to replace the stock low beam bulbs with the nightbreaker laser bulbs. And last wednesday and tonight i was able to test. Ibang-iba ang buga from the oem. Whiter, much brighter and definitely much farther throw. Kung sa dati nasa mga 60 meters lang yung maliwanag (i have 3m dark tints on the windshield) now i'd say about 100+ meters na. And i think it could go further if i adjust the aim. Medyo mababa kasi ang aiming ng low beams nito. In addition ok din ang cutoff nya, well defined and no apparent glare. Sulit yung P2000 na price.

H7 pa rin ba ang low beam ng bagong Starex bro?

I bought a pair and will install it soon... Philips Xtreme Vision (claimed at +130%).....

Yes Chief, OK yung RFID sa Star tollway. Used mine before Holyweek and no problem whatsoever.

Good day guys, i recently found out my 2015 CVX GS has leaking injectors because the sides of the injectors has fluid, although there seems to be no loss of power, i was thinking the seals are the culprit,....anyway anybody would recomemend which one is better, ishimoto or central diesel?

As in basa ng diesel? Madami? Baka naman may maluwag lang na injector tubing nut at kaya mo na higpitan lang. There will be no loss of power as long as the pressure is still there. The injector will fail to deliver fuel to the cylinder only if the fuel pressure is loss, like when if the fuel line is loosely connected. Pag small leak lang from a fuel line nut that is very slightly loose di mo mapapansin lost of power.

I tried tightening the bolts and cleaned them to see if it will leak again in a few days, i couldnt send the pictures, it wont upload

Very unusual, we have a couple of GS in the family and that has never happened to any of our GS

i would have waited a while, for the engine to cool down.
sudden metal cooling isn't good.

I replaced the high pressure oil bypass hose and the return hose of our GS at 50kkm.... It was starting to show signs of oil leaking.

Also had the dialysis of the atf....

May nakapag-blank na ba ng egr ng euro-5 starex? Ano result?

Nag overheat yung Starex namin the other day, hindi napansin ni misis yung temperature at pinilit iuuwi. Can you recommend good mechanics? Tumawag ako sa fronte initial phone guestimate 60k :-(

^^ define "overheat". Did it blow out steam? Or the gauge was just on high-high?

Ano daw gagawin? Change head gasket? Overhaul water pump? Radiator work? O baka naman palit fan lang? When my grx was ondoyed and it overheated later it was just the fan dying. And that thing blew steam. It is basically the same engine as in the present gs, only 33 hp lower.

Pinaandar after 2 days, iba na tunog parang may bakal na kumakalampag. Sa timog flyover naramdaman humina hatak kaya umuwi na kaagad sa bahay (fairview). Ayaw na humila pag dating dito at hindi na maakyat yung bangketa.
Baka hilahin ko next week sa fronte in banawe.
