What's your average FC for your entire ownership of the car?

It hovers around that range, 16-17 km/l using the full-tank method. There's a +1 difference or thereabouts with the on board reading. 75% highway, ECO on at all times. I'm always on 'cruise' mode, always feathering the accelerator. I drive between 100-110 in the highway. Hardly do quick starts, hardly punch it on the road.

Here's the best I did. Drove around 100+ kms total in 3 days

It's a money-making scheme obviously, but if you really want to keep your warranty, that's the only way to go. Personally, I had my horns installed outside. There's practically nothing that will be affected by my horn installation so I'm not paranoid about it.

How about moving the stock horns to a different location will that void the warranty? Eg. At the center of the grille.

    my guess.
you moved wiring. you moved electrical appliance.
something goes wrong as a result, and they trace it to your handiwork... warranty will probably not compensate you for the damage.

Thanks sir. The wrench icon came out around 9,600 kms. It turns back on every time you start the engine. When you press the info button it turns back to normal display but there's an info icon on all the time. It's kinda makulit if you were to ask me. Hehe 😃.

That's already very good FC for city driving. What's your usual route?

My overall average is 8.6 km/L over 1,300 km of city driving. Mix of heavy traffic (Pasig-BGC rush hour at 6.3 km/L) and light traffic (Pasig-QC weekends at 10 km/L).

Outstanding discipline on your end to keep your 174 hp at bay. I'm getting similar figures with my 1.8E - with cruise control on at 120 kph, I get around 16 km/L.

I have a few bursts to 180-200 though so my last 2 highway fillups were at 15.7 km/L. If I keep it at 100 kph, the meter reads at around 18-20 km/L. I'll try to do an eco run one of these days at 80 kph to see how efficient the Civic can get.

Did it with my Vios before and got 21.3 km/L, did it with the Altis and got 20.03 km/L. I think the Civic can outdo them with its CVT. 😉

Sucat to Makati via Skyway (I'd say light to medium traffic daily), then Makati to Ortigas in generally heavy traffic.

Sucat is bad almost any time of the day and I stay away from Skyway on Monday/Tuesday morning as it can get bumper-to-bumper from Sucat up to the construction site near C5.

What time do you travel that route?

6:30 AM usually. I totally avoid Sucat on the return trip by going through villages (sticker required) via the West Service Road.

Yep, 630am is still light traffic along Sucat and you can make it to Magallanes by 7am thru Skyway or SLEX.

I also do the same route but I have to drop off my kid to school first before heading off to my wife's office at Mandaluyong and then back to Makati where I work.

That is also very impressive, that means very minimal idling of engine. Are you monitoring your boost meter, I'm guessing very seldom you get the boost above 3 bars, or I could be wrong.

    Thanks.

Reading brochures and reviews parang sa latest altis-V wlaang ganun tech

    Yes to all your questions.

My 1.8E has Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and the same fancy gauge as the RS except that the 1.8 has blue gauges while the RS has orange gauges.

The LE has an analog tachometer and doesn't have the full LED display of the 1.8E. No Android Auto and Carplay either.

Just want to ask you, guys. I saw in my FB feed that Android Auto now has Waze capability. Does anyone have the link to this update?

Just download the latest Waze update from the Play Store.

I just updated my Waze from the Play Store and can confirm that it works with Android Auto on my car.

20.8 km/L on the highway today!

Cruise control at 80 kph (1400 rpm) from SCTEX to TPLEX Urdaneta.

Wasn't able to verify with a full tank because I was still running on the full tank I used from my track day. Will try again in a few weeks for a pure highway run.
