The Honda Civic FD is the 8th gen Civic.

Skipping one gen may not be feasible given the way how the car industry runs as of the moment.

if you're talking about the audio/aircon panel, that's the direction honda is taking. the new crv also has the same setup which is quite hard to get used to. but the MID of civic is kinda cool.

the car has a big potential to look good if proper wheel and tire size will be fitted, then add lowering springs. it is unfortunate that the early released cars came with odd looking wheels and narrow tires, making it less attractive.
