8th gen civic has the biggest butt in the history of civic. the 9th gen though, has a firmer butt compared to 8th's. it will take some time to get used to; or maybe not. honda modified the previous generation of accord's butt on its mid cycle change, chances are, this gen's civic will have the same correction.

Nakuha ko na official LTO registration. They classified it as Medium. That means mas mahal ang yearly registration.

i checked the new civic yesterday at honda pasig. it's not that bad as most reactions/comments here. mukha nga siyang city pag side view. i like the dash layout. 1 thing that i don't like is i can't see the front-end of the car when seating inside. i am scheduled to test drive next week.

Ok ako sa front ng bagong Civic. Di ko lang talaga ma-tripan yung likod. Nagmukhang cheap tuloy.

And I find the 1M price tag a bit too hefty. :hammer:

Especially mesh? No.

The FB Civic isn't SPORTY. It's now ELEGANT. Gone are the days where mesh grilles are the ones favored by Civic owners.

Sa lahat na nagcomment na hindi nila type yung 2012 Civic thank you po. At least konti na lang kami sa road ( I bought one). I have a Montero bought Dec. 2008 and because napakaganda ng styling and performance ng Montero halos every kanto may kasalubong ako. Nagkaron ako 6th and 7th gen Civic ,yung 7th gen nadispose ko lang when i bought 9th gen civic. 11 years parang hindi nagbago performance. Nabasa ko lahat ng thread sa internet they say 2012 is ugly but ibought one. Loyalist hehehe. Peace to all owners of different brand kanya kanya lang taste.

I have seen the Civic earlier when I went to the dealership. Actually, it looks better than I expected it to be. On chosen colors, though. SA demonstrated me all the functions and indeed it was nice.

The carmellian red (sp?) was a winner. Looks amazing. The urban titanium, not so much.

What I appreciated the most about it was the seats... it's really more comfortable than my FD. And the features were great, as well. Downside is the price, obviously. At 1.074m you'd really think twice. But since by June (as per her) the Thailand plant would most likely re-open, which would bring the price down to below 1M it would make the Altis run for its money -- 1.6V units, that is.

Sucks that some features would be removed, though.. and one of it may be the ECON button. But the FB Civic, as it is right now, is already a good vehicle. Such a big improvement from my FD, I didn't even know it could show pictures on the instrument cluster. And it had a back-up camera as standard. The SA admitted however that the FD was such a hit that the FB Civic is nothing compared to its sales & popularity. My answer? The FD's sporty, the FB is elegant so it would appeal to a totally different market.

Honda is accelerating its plans to update the Civic, Automotive News is reporting. Although it's selling pretty well, Honda's redesigned-for-2012 Civic has been panned by critics, tarnishing the brand image of this perennial compact-class benchmark.

Earlier reports suggested that Honda was planning a midcycle refresh sometime in 2013, but Honda officials at the National Automobile Dealers Association convention in Las Vegas announced that an updated Civic will come out this fall, just 18 months after the new one debuted.

With the 2012 redesign, the Civic got fresh styling, a new specific high-fuel-economy model and, many argue, a cheaper interior and overall feel. It sounds like Honda's update to the Civic will address those faults. Details haven't been released, but Honda has said the changes will be "significant."
