and it started...dalawa na sila with the same problem...anyway my FD got this irks and rattle, here and there after 6 months...


"Persistant rattle on my 3 month old Civic. Seems to be coming from dashboard passenger side around or inside the glovebox or the glovebox itself (which is empty).
Only started noticing it last couple of days. Most annoying when driving slowly over corrugations or holes in the road. Anybody else getting any rattles?"

haha, i also have this rattling glove box on my civic which is 2 months old now. i've read a couple of 9th gen owners in america experiencing the same issue. its not really that bad and it doesn't happen all the time. i usually hear it when i run over certain road cracks inside the village where its more quiet with the radio off. but yeah, it can be annoying when i am feeling ocd.

it is supposed to be fixed in the next mmc. looks like there's no significant changes from the exterior, but more inside since many of the complaints were from the cheap plasticky materials.

I have a rattle from the front passenger seat backrest. I can replicate it when I pound on the backrest. It's a 'tick' or 'click' noise. As it is just superficial, I haven't given much time to try and fix it.

hi sirs i just got one! Kakabili ko lang this monday medyo afternoon na kaya tuesday ko na nakuha. Hindi maganda sa picture ung honda civic pero maganda siya sa personal. Nabili ko ung carnelian red Ill post some pictures later.
ang comment ko lang sa honda civic eh parang matigas ung upuan dahil altis na 9th gen ang dati kong kotse. Dinala ko na ung civic sa tagaytay mas mabilis talaga siya sa altis ko pero feeling ko mas comfy parin ung altis. Saka ung honda civic parang marami syang inalis na feature considering na more than 1 million ang price tag nya.
Pero in the end Iam still satisfied with my purchase and di ako nagsisisi. Hopefully magkaroon ng thread para sa mga owners. thanks po.

^ Great choice. Carmellian red is my most favorite color for the FB.

I wouldn't say that it's actually "lacking" features, I'd say the features it offers (after seeing it) is ok. More would be definitely better, but what it offers now is already good.

Actually, the seats of the FB are already better of than the FD. I guess Altises are just naturally comfortable.

Di ko pa post pics kasi phone gamit ko saka di pa marunomg he he. Nung pumunta ako tagaytay na appreciate ko ung cruise control kala ko magiging awkward kasi first time kong gagamit ng ganun. Ang lacking na feature siguro n honahanap ko eh ung maliliit. Tulad ng speed sensor locks ung interment wipers n may level ung button for locking the doors courtesy lights sa door pero cool sakin ung manual aircon keysa auto climate controls. Saka cute din pala ung projector lights n naadjust. Saka contrary to others gwapo sya specially the front. Saka tinapat ko sya sa city ng kapitbahay ko mas maganda talaga ung civic. Thanks

Siguro depende n yan talaga sa tumitingin sir sakin ok naman sya. Kung kumpara mo sya sa altis mazda nissan maganda naman sya mas maganda nga lng talaga ung elantra. Kaya lng parang la parin ako tiwala sa korean car inspite of the success of their line up maybe pag papalitan ko n yung honda ko eh mag hyundai nako pero as of now ill go for japanese cars. Thanks.

To be honest, i still prefer the exterior design of the FD.

I really don't understand what's happening to Honda nowadays... IMHO, they need to have a revised rear fascia for the Civic FB

Got new mudguards, got my leatherette seat cover n na galing casa pero nakita ko galing lang sa leather one still waiting for the luggage tray.
Current fc is 10.3/100 km city driving 850km odo. So far no sounds coming from the dash still solid.

Mine is 1458 odo,fc is 7.7 eco mode off. May napansin lang ako paminsan minsan may kalabog sa ilalim front driver side pag may humps. Pero not all d time.

Ako sir nasa 10.1 parin as of today. Sir ano yan per 100 km or yan na talaga. Nung nag 1k odo ko nagtry ako humataw sa may quezon ave underpass mabilis din talaga malayo dun sa altis ko he he.
