Ford Everest [Merged]

hi everyone! just bought (2 weeks ago) my bnew ford everest 4x2 M/T Duratorq here in Ford Cagayan de Oro.

Compared with the Fortuner, which I thoroughly test drived and checked, Everest is more spacious, more powerful (better torque), durable body and has better rear suspension inspite of its leafspring design. Fortuner is coil spring but its quite short so you end up having a bumpier ride than when it has a longer coil spring.

In Summary: Better than Fortuner on Driver needs, Passenger comfort and money for value. The aftersales service though, coming from my initial experience here in Cagayan de Oro, needs some improvement though. Not very service oriented. Toyota is tops on that area. Everest is a great vehicle in its class but the Customer service is not at par with other dealers, especially Toyota & Kia...

PS. By the way, I like Everest's stance more than Fortuner. Very macho...

your right there! sa ford cagayan din namin na bili yung everest and there service sucks! kung hindi mo tawagan araw2x hindi gagalaw.

hi there!! I have a 2007 ford everest 2.5 A/T.. maganda and ford everest 07. lakas humatak.. kahit 7 kayong matatabang tao nakasakay, walang problema sa akyatan.. interior ibang iba sa lumang everest.. wala akong pagsisi sa pagbili ko ng everest 2007 ,
yung tamaob na everest sa parking lot, katangahan nalang yun sa pagmamaneho.....

6k na mileage ng sakin, wala pakong nagiging problema sa everest ko.. service ng ford alabang walang problema at maisikaso sila. im verry happy with my ford everest 2007

The overturned Everest was due to some boneheaded driving by an inexperienced driver. Kailangang hinay hinay ka lang sa pag-apak sa accelerator, dahil ang lakas ng engine response at ng LSD, kahit naka-stop lang ang vehicle, ang bilis din mag-accelerate.

Ganyan lang talaga... kung sobrang bilis ang SUV at masyadong masayang i-drive, maraming nadidisgrasya (note, may mga Fortuner din na na-a-aksidente... at may Land Rover na tumaob sa Singapore a few years ago...)

Space daw. The Everest's third row, while flat and hard, has more room than the Fortuner's third row, and there's more cargo room with the seats folded up.

ahheh, kmi nmn everest first car namin.. d ko po alam kung pano icocompare sa iba ksi nga first car. pero ok lng nmn poh and one word to describe everest - "hatak"..

by d way, everest 4x2 lng un and 2.4L

as for me, wala pa rin naman ako nagiging problema dito eh. lakas naman hatak eh. so far hindi pa naman niya ko pinapahiya..

hi everest owners.. by the way im zaldy, let me remind you na wag nyo na lagyan ng tireblack yung gulong ng everest nyo kasi tumatalsik dun sa gutter mahirap tangalin.. hehe.. tamang linis nalng.. okaya konting tire black lng. wag madami hehe.. pero sakin hindi ko na nilalagyan.

anyway yung headunit natin sana pwede mapalitan, pero wala nmn ako masabi sa stock na head unit ng everest hangang ngayon walang problema sa pagbabasa ng cd, tibay din noh.. hehe kaya lng hindi makulay on screen display hehe, :stereo:

Nakausap kona sa mickeys audio kaya daw nila gawan ng paraan, pero antay antay lang daw muna kasi muka daw may dadating na pang mount sa front panel ntin para mapalitan ng head unit.. hehe baka next week palitan ko ng yung stock speaker ng everest ko, para masmaganda sounds, nextmonth na yung sub. yeah! :choir:
