Hi guys, recently i sold my ford escape, and i took off the accessories i installed on it.. Right now, i still have left are my H&R lowering springs.. The car was lady driven and was hardly ever driven for the past 2 years. Which was installed less than 2 years ago.. Hi Guys!

I'm a newbie here. Me and my wife bought 2 cars last year, a second hand Ford Lynx RS and a brand new Ford Escape, both are colored black and so far I'm really happy with our purchase. And yeah, I really don't see that much Fords on the road so we also love the "prestige" aspect of the brand, it's not like a Toyota or a Honda although I'm a fan of both brands (used to drive a Scion TC and Civic back in San Diego)

Anyway, I've been checking online and I'm kinda confused because when we typed Escape and Lynx RS clubs on google there seems to be 2 groups, we decided to check the 2 sites and me and my wife were just curious, are they the same club or do we need to sign to both forums?

Checked the "Ford Club Philippines" site and we were impressed, the web design was pretty cool too and it seems that it's affiliated with major groups and marketing arm (saw different logos at the homepage) and the cover was pretty sick as well. And the pic gallery, I think this group has been around for sometime now.

Then there's the other group "Escape Zone" which is kinda cool as well. Was about to check it but something came up so probably later at work I'll check the forum again, seems like this is pretty much dedicated to Escape owners/experts

If only we knew the "Meet-Up" of Ford Club Philippines last Saturday me and my wife could've dropped by, sayang! well, there's always next time I guess.

I also have friends who drives Escapes from P&G and they told me about Ford Club Philippines like they saw it one time at Eastwood City, they said it's the club to join to know more about Escapes, may nakita daw yata silang modified Maroon na Escape and as for our Escape me and my wife wants to upgrade the wheels of our Escape to 19's like the one we saw at Ateneo the other day.

So yeah, can we join both clubs/forums? We definitely would love to know more about our newly aquired vehicles

The Ford Club Philippines is officially recognized by Ford Group Philippines, and we get special offers and invitations to Ford-specific events. In fact, we're having a plant tour this weekend, some test-drives and a little something extra on the side.

We've been going on for a number of years already. We have occassional get-togethers, outreach programs, fun-runs and etcetera.

As far as I know, there is no exclusivity clause with membership, as most of our founders and some of us oldtimers were member of protegetech.org (now mazdatech.org), and we were spun off from the motherclub. This is because some Fords, including the Lynx and the Escape, are sister models to Mazda cars (the 323 and the Tribute). This tradition continues with the Focus and the Mazda3. Although they are very different in character, they share a lot of engine and suspension similarities.

In fact, we still attend Mazdatech events, including their annual car show.

We are also partners with the Escort Club of the Philippines... if you know anybody with an old-school Ford Escort, they can find their kin here.

Anyone with a Ford, or planning to buy a Ford is welcome. If you have an RS, please sign up in our registry. There are only 250 Lynx RS's in the Philippines, and so far, we've got 30 of them on the board. ;)

Not really. Some Explorer owners, one or two F150, a bunch of Escape, Lynx and Focus owners, and a whole bunch of Everest and Ranger owners. Guess the guys who typically buy E150s buy them for work, not because they're enthusiastic about them.
