My 2.3 escape eh ang hi high temp pag nasa traffick.any experience po na ganito?
mga sir... im planning to buy a ford esccape for my daugther... how much po ba 2003, 2004, 2005 at 2006 model ngayon? ano po ba ang FC? ano po ang pinakamatipid? ano po ba ang model na maganda ang quality? etc....
salamat....
Prices can get from 200+k for the 2003 to 400+k for some 2006 units. Best bet I suppose would be getting the 2.3XLS 4x2. That one'll get around 7km/L thereabouts on average, depending on traffic conditions and driving style. I'd suggest you get the one with the dual bulb multireflector headlights available from 2005 up para mas modern ang dating.
I'm planning to get ford escape... may issue po ba sa aircon? kasing lamig din po ba ng nissan or can it stand the heat na meron ang pinas?
finally got my Escape yesterday. initial comments.....very smooth ride and A/C is so cool.
happy with my mom's new ride.
Yung unang labas na Ford Escape, yung mga 2.0 na XLT, makupad yung automatic, get a manual if you hope to survive highway overtaking. Yung mga bagong labas now, I think meron V6, I suggest you get that one so that you won't be underpowered.
Pero overall, maganda sa loob, maganda wheelbase niya smooth yung ride, plus if ever you get to try it off road (but not hard core off roading), the ride still feels comfortable.
For me mas pogi Escape compared to the CR-V, my only issue is that's it's underpowered.
^ Limited budget ni rockiee_s kaya he opted for the current Escape which is relatively a solid car naman.
Mga sir, magkano kaya yung price range ng bagong ford escape?., the picture above^^![]()
Im happy with our 2006 2.3xls Ford Escape. Very comfortable ride, powerful engine and strong A/C. Only problem is the squeeking sound from the idler pulley. P3k to replace. Fuel consumption is 6 to 7 km/l. Still looking quite stunning on the road.
The 2.3L has a 27hp, 20Nm improvement over the old 2.0L engine (157hp/203Nm for the 2.3L and 130hp/183Nm for the 2.0L). Gas mileage is also significantly better. The Escape 2.0XLT 4x4 is underpowered and so, gets a V6-like 5-6km/L. Might as well get the 3.0V6 kung ganun din naman. I have yet to drive the 2.3XLS of my tito in Taiwan. But he has driven the 2.0XLT here, and he shares that the 2.3L has significantly better gas mileage. In terms of performance, it is no slouch either. The 2.0L feels heavy and weak in comparison.
