The closest to the Toyota Avanza would be the Chevrolet Spin and Suzuki Ertiga.

Handling wise, mas maganda ang fiesta compare sa ecosport. Since mataas ang ride height ng ecosport, meron siyang body roll and the worse part is the a/t transmission, meron pa din jerking and gear hunting ang powershift dual clutch transmission. On the positive note dahil mataas pwede na sa baha.

For ecosport owners, what made you decide to get either the trend or titanium trim? I'm trying to choose between these 2. Thanks for your inputs.

If not for the ride height and the damn good looks, i would have chosen the avanza, at least no transmission problems. So now i will be gambling my hard earned money for the ecosport hoping i do not experience the transmission problem that others had. Haays kasi naman ang toyota ayaw gumawa ng magandang design na avanza.

Because of the features. Mas madali idrive yung titanium kasi naka-auto lahat, wipers, lights, doors, and may back sensor. Ayokong magmodify and magdagdag pa ng kung anu-anong accessories so i decided to choose titanium.

Same thing here. You cannot have these features all at the same time with a compact sedan or even midsize SUV's you'll get the following which you'll appreciate specially when you already had a chance to drive a european brand:
    Auto headlamps
    Rain sensing wipers
    Auto dimming rear view mirror
    Vanity mirror with lamp illumination
    One touch lane changing signals
    Speed limiter buzzer
    Sync
Keyless entry with proximity sensors, no need to look and touch the remote to open the door
Torino leather seats with red stitching
    Sunroof
    Push start stop button
Hill launch assist and hill descent control
    Traction control
    ...and many many more.

I really like the auto headlamps, auto dimming mirror, rain-sensing wipers, and the built-in back sensor. Very useful specially kapag bumabyahe ako ng gabi. Mas nakakapagconcentrate ako sa daan.

    I feel for you bro...

Come on. Pairing your GS with an Avanza in the garage??? That is a no no..

But with an Ecosport... Gwapo. Pwede!!! Do update me on the power shift just in case I'll have a second look at it end of the year.....

Recently we got a trend a/t white grabe 1 month waiting time!! And ikaw pa magbababayad nang LTO and insurance, kase dikame nag in house financing, grabe dahil daw hotcake ung unit, tint matting and fuel lang nakuha nameng freebies..

As for it's ride, mabagal lang mag accelerate like any other AT, pero kapag nakuha na nya yung arangkada ok na sya,,
FC at. 640km odo is. 9L/100km mixed highway and City driving.. And as for the overall ride very satisfied naman kame, since dalawa lang kame nakasakay palagi.

Autohub group dealers me D.I. meaning tataas yung bank rate mo based on the DI given. Tapos me additional DI pa cum Salesman incentive based doon sa DI rate na ibabayad mo as cash. Tapos sa kanila din ang insurance, tapos 10k pa LTO mo. Tapos hindi kapa 100% sure makakakuha dahil uunahin nila ang in-house.

Ford PI is at fault on this one. Releasing a product na wala palang adequate stock and condoning such practices by the dealers (at least man lang doon sa double DI).

    *ray_noel:

Sir Ford Tarlac po kame, walang D.I., di kame nag in house financing, deretso kame sa bank, kaya ung friend ko sa FQA nagtaka sya na inentertain kame na walk-in na hindi nag in house, but kinda disappointing kase yung una deal is Free LTO or You pay the LTO but you get hupter optik tint priced at 15k for free.. We opt to choose the free LTO, they even persuade as to change our preferred color into silver, we said no, gusto namen frozen white, so we waited up to a month, then nung release na nung unit on the spot lang sinabi na di daw pede pafree ang LTO then ins. For 27k.. But we bargained for the insurance..

Freebies lang nakuha namen a 3M tint, 15L of gas (natawa nalang ako) pambawi daw sa irregularities bout the ins. And LTO.. And a ordinary matting, kasi alam nilang hotcake ang unit wala masyado freebies, but pag nag in house i'm sure ibang usapan na yan and ung quote sa in house na sinend saken nang QUezon ave. diko din kinonsider, insurance of 42k ano yun sabi ko a full sized SUV? Grabe sana maayos nang Ford to..

27k insurance is reasonable. Did you get the manual tranny?
