Not everyone is happy with just 120 kph bro. And there are a lot of roads where you can go safely past 120 without endangering your passengers and those around you
Also, a pickup need not have merely adequate power. The Strada, for one, has boatloads of power for highway runs or b-road overtaking![]()
Sir edtf,
Don't mean to contradict your opinion. M sure one proud ranger owner too. But what I'm looking is the add on kick of its engine, but since its only 2.2 then will have to accept its limited power output.
Have you tried driving a higher engine displacement? (Like 3.0 or 3.2)I'm sure you will be most you will be more satisfied in overtaking and climbing up hills.
I've ordered for the 3.2 wildtrak, but seems matagal Tagal pa waiting ko :-(
Keep safe driving :-)

I honestly think it's a bad move to discontinue the XLT AT.
It requires Ranger buyers to shell out at least 1.4M for an AT version. In a country where ATs are becoming dominant, and where trucks aren't mere workhorses anymore, an affordable mid-range AT would have sold very well. A friend of mine, for one, had his eyes set on a Ranger but is now looking at a Strada GLX-V.
Had a canopy installed on my 2013 3.2L. Am selling the sports bar and rails that came with it. I posted it in sulit.
Hello to all New Ranger 2.2 MT owner here. Hope we can have EB sometime. Thanks.
