Is it true na hindi na daw maglalabas ng Wildtrak 2.2 4x4 M/T at yung 4x4 XL na lang daw at WT 3.2 ang matitira na 4x4 variant?

Yung 4x4 XL kasi as per spec sheet mas mababa HP at Torque kumpara sa XLT variants.

In the Ford alabang pricelist both 2.2 Wildtrak variants are missing, but its still available in the website
How's the waiting list for the XLT AT?

Just passed by at Ford Balintawak. Tama si viper888 na wala na yung 2.2 Wildtrak (both M/T and A/T) sa pricelist ng dealers. Asked kung magkakaroon pa within the year ng WT 2.2 4x4 M/T baka daw 2 variants na lang ng Wildtrak ang imaintain ng dealers sa sales line up nila basically yung 3.2 4x4 at 2.2 4x2 A/T na lang. Naging limited edition tuloy yung 2.2 na 4x4 M/T!

Inquired about the 4x4 XL may padating daw in 3 weeks di nga lang sure ang color. Wala pala stepboard, side mirror turn lights at steering wheel button controls yung XL. Sa mga XLT variants 20 pa daw nakapila at iba iba kulay ito at as usual may DI kung gusto mauna.

    Wildtrak 2.2L 4x2 MT less than P1.240m
    Wildtrak 2.2l 4x2 AT less than P1.3m
    Wildtrak 3.2L 4x4 MT less than P1.5m

Red, grey, silver, and white Ranger XL 4x4 MT (P1.189m) available naman dito sa Ford Global City.

Yet you will have to wait up to 1 year if you don't pay D.I.

Hopefully supply issues (especially on the 3.2 WT MT) would no longer be a problem by the end of the year.

That's what we thought in 2013, since it's been a full year since the Ranger's release. But now, approaching the middle of 2014, several variants are still very hard to come by.

How can Ford PH grow if we're not given enough support by Ford Asia Pac? It's one thing to be allotted lots of units but be unable to sell, but our case is the opposite - demand is through the roof, but the warehouses are empty.

For 150k more than the XLT, you get bigger rims, more toys, and more exterior bling.

Pretty good pricing, but the question is, may supply ba?

Also, 3.2 is pretty pricey at 270k more than the 2.2 just for the engine and 4x4.

IMO pang upgrade mo nalang yan 150k... your xlt would look much better pa than a wildtrak...

SA 150k you can get 20" mags and tires 70k bigger shoes na... overland rollbar 16.2, raptor grill 6.5k, hood protector 1.8k... genuine leather seat covers and sidings 18k as good as wildtrak na po, soft bed liner cover 6k... 3M generic matting... 3k.. snorkel 9k... and rocker front bumper 50k.. total 180k.. 30k nalang problema mo... kaya benta mo naman stock tires and rims mo..

naka simpleng setup ka na na poging pogi...

That's if you want those things. Not everyone wants an off-road look Ranger. It's also nowhere what I'd call a simple setup.

I would prefer an OEM-look Ranger that drives better than all those pangporma Rangers that will never even see a dirt road.

    Different strokes for different folks.

for me its simple... for a really great mods... dapat naka nitto mud tires ka na at least 35", lift na at least 4", rollbar with basket, race chip, old man emu suspensions, 41" led bar... then 4x4 din dapat at may winch...

side by side... IMO the wildtrak will look pale in comparison with an xlt or even with an xl with mods...

Sulit na yung WT. Engine performance alone will make you happy. Smooth ang strong feeling with extra power always available on tap.

Side curtain airbags, Traction control, brake wheel traction(like A-trac sa FJ), ESP, trailer antiway, hill assist, hill descent... hindi ito mabibili after

Interior looks is just awesome. Sure you can put seatcovers like it but thats about 30k. Reverse sensor with camera 30k, step bar, 18inch wheels all will add to the price.

Oh how about dual mode climate controls, electric seats, cool box...

Sa tingin ko sulit talaga WT3.2

...or I could be wrong and in love lang talaga ako sa bago kong ranger

Sulit naman talaga yung WT over XLT due to the added features and better looks out of the casa. Like I said, good pricing for the 2.2.

Sa 3.2 medyo mahal for me yung almost 300k gap just for the engine and 4x4 because you can match the 3.2's power through mods much cheaper, while the 4x4 goodies aren't very useful for day-to-day use for most people. Most people just buy the TOTL for porma but the 3.2 and 2.2 WT look almost identical from outside.

That said, if I were to buy a Ranger again, definitely the 3.2 MT WT. And mukhang kahit mahal yung 3.2 super haba pa rin ng pila. Maybe Ford should price it at 1.6M para magbalance naman yung supply nila sa demand.

That's like saying a tricked-out Civic with fancy race parts is better than a sleeper Civic that's just as fast but looks close to stock.

Ang akin lang bro, hindi porket mas maraming mods, mas maganda. I respect people who mod their Rangers (or whatever car) to high heavens. Yung iba maganda naman, pero ako kasi (and I know na there are others like me) yung tipo na gusto ng kotse na mukhang stock with a few subtle upgrades to differentiate it from the average stock unit without straying too much from the OEM look.

At the end of the day, it's a matter of respect and understanding that each person has different tastes.

True ... I like stock look. I don't like wheels with low profile tires and sticking out of the fenders but I may go for a/t tires with stock WT wheels. mods for me simple lang like a good canvas cover compatible to my sports bar. HiD 4300k, Tint black, and soon change to a louder horn.

I guess different folks different strokes.
