285/55R20. 2-inch lift required to fit these tires. Speedometer was slower vs GPS on the stock wheel and tires. With these tires, speedo = GPS.

WIP. Putting on armour. With the added weight, it shouldn't be a problem for the 3.2L.

Skid plate will be added to the configuration.

Needed a wheel carrier for the spare tire (same as what's mounted). The larger wheel/tire combination won't fit underneath the bed anymore. Besides, I wanted a different look for the truck.

I will be selling my front and rear bumpers soon. Anyone interested, let me know.

I wanted a 285/55 on my rig but to avoid rubbing issues, I had to do a 2-inch lift. If you don't do the lift, you will have to go smaller diameter and width tires to avoid rubbing.

Someone posted earlier that our speedos with the stock wheels and tires combination are overstated by a couple of kph. That's true. That's to prevent lawsuits from customers who get apprehended for overspeeding. If you have a vehicle with stock setup, try running along NLEX and compare your speedo vs GPS. You'll find that your speedo is overstated vs what the GPS says is your actual ground speed. True ground speed is what is stated in your GPS as it doesn't care what tires, wheel diameter or speedometer you got. I was just fortunate that this combination of wheel and tires resulted in speedo = GPS. Frankly, I don't care what the speedo says. I trust the GPS more to tell me how fast am really going.

Yes am using a Garmin Nuvi. Garmins are able to run the PH map from Roadguide.ph.

Bossing may I ask where did you have your vehicle fitted with this. Do you own a shop? Thanks.

Stock tires will present speed over that of GPS. Someone earlier posted about it and it is true. Car manufacturers don't want to be sued for overspeeding. GPS will always give you actual ground speed. I use a Garmin Nuvi and Zumo. These run PH maps courtesy of roadguide.ph.

Had to do the 2 inch lift to fit these tires. Don't do the lift and you can use smaller diameter tires.

May certain limit lang kasi ang pag increase ng wheel diamter for the speedo to read it correctly. In his case malaki na masyado kaya iba na reading ng speedo kasi yung speedo is accustomed to the normal tire diameter only. May thread about dyan here or you can google it sir. With regards to gps, he's using an app which uses gps for determinig its speed.

Btw, i know you can install speedo corrector so that your speedometer would be accurate once again.

had this done to the center console, not that good lookin' but it does serve the purpose. Center console of the xlt model is made of hard plastic, pretty annoying when I lay my elbow down to rest my arm when stuck in traffic
