GreenandWhite, sir what tire size are you using? Thanks.
Are all dealers still asking for DI for the WT?Tagal mag stabilize ng supply hay..
Isn't it that DI is calculated based on loan amount and not on SRP? It's actually added to the AOR (add on rate). Normally, bank's offered AOR has at least 1% DI already, or 0.5% if borrower is a preferred client;, hence if dealer asks for 3%, the incremental payment in interest (which is actually amortized for the duration of the loan) is only 2% (of the loan amount).
Hey good choice on the 3.2 numbah5. Your 3% is better than what the ANC Group, which owns Ford Balintawak, Ford Commonwealth, Ford Quezon Avenue, Ford SM Fairview, Ford SM Marilao and the newly opened Ford Manila Bay, offers a blunt 4% in-your-face DI
Well as they say, good things come to those who wait. Hopefully we'll be able to get one by September.
When I was buying my Ranger, ANC Group dealership had the worst offer of all. Only SA from Ford Commonwealth tried really hard to get me deal. The rest just didn't even tried to come back to me at all. Worst experience I had, was Ford Manila Bay, a new dealership full of lazy people. Anyway I would try Ford Manila, Cavite, Libis, Alabang or Makati. All of them really tried their best to sell, I mean in good way. One more point, if you put deposit on the car, which is already by dealer, do insist on writing down the conduction number on cash receipt for reservation as it will far harder for them to sell the car to other person. In my case, after I walked out of dealership, I came back in about 5 minutes, coz I forgot something to ask and the car was already gone from dealership floor.
P.S. I was in more than 10 dealerships in MM plus Ford Cavite on my own to ask in person.
I might have missed it pero paano ba makaiwas sa DI? kung cash ba meron pa rin DI?
Which dealership is best within MM and adjoining provinces? thanks.
Here's the quotation I got for my wildtrak 3.2L white. Paid the DP already and I'll be getting my unit next week. Waited for a month only.
Unit: Ford Ranger 3.2L Wildtrak 4x4 AT
SRP: 1,549,000
20% Down payment: 309,800
Insurance: 55,000
Chattel Mortgage Fee: 33,200
Lto reg (3 yrs): 12,000
Total Down Payment: P 410,000
Insurance includes:
-Comprehensive insurance
-Third Party Liability or Certificate of Coverage
-Acts of God
Monthly Amortization:
For 36 months: 45,524
Just not sure kung ilang % D.I. sa monthly amortization. Also the insurance and lto reg are expensive. Pero okay lang. Basta makakuha kagad.
Yup. I knew all along that the lto reg should only be 7,200 for 3 yrs and insurance (1 year only) shouldnt be that expensive. Bank PO's usually are only 12-15% interest. Or 3-5% per annum. This one is 32.24% (more than 2x than the usual). To be honest, i was in line for wt 2.2 at white (waiting for 3mos) computed for the interest based on the quote they gave me which is 27.85%. Unfortunately, walang dadating this month for 2 dealers i reserved from. One dealer offered me to get a 3.2 WHITE instead but warned me na madugo ang all-in down at d.i. ng 3.2 white. Sent me the quotation. Thought about it for an hour. Should I or should I not? Well, here are the reasons that let me decide to take it:
1. Sobrang haba ng pila ng wildtrak
2. Pinakamhabang pila ay white for both 2.2 and 3.2 (usually ang dumadating are 60% orange, 30% black, 10% white)
3. Most of SA's of Ford dealers discourage clients to line up for 3.2 'cause only 10 units are delivered to our country each month from thailand, meaning each dealer only gets 0-2 units each month for their 3-5 branches (estimated 50+ clients are already in line for the 3.2 wt per dealer, which totals 250+ for all branches).
4. Finally, reasons 1-3 make its resell value still high even after 2-3 years. Or i can easily sell it more than its SRP. but i doubt i will 'cause this beast is definitely a collectible! (Worth the money)
Hope these infos help. especially to those who are still waiting in line.

The SA in Ford Commonwealth was really honest when we spoke that the dealership will really try to make money out of the sale of a 3.2 WT because of the demand and limited supply. This is probably how the dealership will make money. They target a DI of 100k for 3.2, 70k for 2.2 AT, 30k for 2.2 MT.
Of course they will choose to give the available unit to clients that are willing to go with their terms. That includes DI, in house financing, in house insurance. If you are willing to put a blind eye on this just to get the ranger, you can have the car without waiting too much since you will be priority. If not, yes you can fall in line and wait forever. Thats how business goes for them..
