Sige try niyo lahat tapos post kayo ng feedback on what happens to your T6 after a year or so. Kung walang masama, then maybe it's worth recommending. 😜

Personally I have doubts because the 2.2 Puma engine is a fairly modern CRDi and this old-school trick might not work.

Am also wary of claims that it's smoother or has less smoke etc etc because it can easily be a placebo effect - we see what we think we should see.

siguro to really know kung talagang may pagkakaiba.. i need to drive and compare with a fellow t6 owner with mine... and use a sound meter...

on my part naman... as of now i dont recommend others to do the same... sakin lang hindi kasi ako natatakot masira t6 ko......... and IMO ang dami kong nabasa na recommended ito sa mga diesel engines... maliban sa mga high end diesel... eh IMO hindi naman high end ang engine natin eh... ( i find our engine pa miniscule or maybe it just me..)

actually sakin po.. nung unang naglagay ako... wala akong napansin na improvements... in my mind "walang pagbabago, maybe bec. its still new pa kasi" then on my 2nd full tank... sabi ko sa sarile ko.. bakit parang patay ang makina? bakit ang smooth tumakbo? pati nginig sa kambyo (MT) nabawasan... but there's no noticeable change in FC and power... sa smoke wala din pagbabago... may kunting usok pa din pag FLOORED.... on my first pms i ask casa if it is normal.. normal naman daw yung smoke...

pero baka naman po nagkakamali din ako...

pero cge po.. taga q.c. lang naman ako... PM Kita pag nagawi ako sa area mo... or kung kayo naman ang magawi sa q.c. pm me din...

at least malaman natin habang maaga kung placebo effect nga lang yung nararamdaman ko po...

So I tried putting 2T along with my full tank last night. 200mL 2T from Shell mixed with Unioil diesel.

No night-and-day difference for me. At first it felt quieter and smoother, but when I drove it again this morning, parang wala naman. Must be a placebo effect.

Will continue to monitor for any improvements over the course of a week or two. Then in my next fill up try ko uli na wala, in accordance with typical A-B-A methodology.

So here's my version using 2T. Nawala yung nginig ng makina pag switch off mo. Dati nangingisay lagi. Ito yung pinaka una kung napansin. Pati Mrs ko na hindi alam na hinaluan ko ng 2T yung diesel napansin nya. And then, fuel economy nag improve din. 12.6km/L na. Usually lagi akong 10.6km/L.

Just got my unit from the service regarding the tranny problem. Hope its permanently fixed.

Baka pag hindi ka na nagtext-speak mawala yung lag.

But seriously, the Ranger 2.2 has severe turbo lag, whether with a manual or automatic transmission. It doesn't have much power below 1.5k rpm, then pulls like a beast from 1.5k-3.5k rpm.

With an AT though, you don't have to worry too much about the lag because the transmission is smart enough to pick the right gear to get you going.

So the correct ratio would be 400ml 2T for every full tank, if the ranger has 80 liters full tank capacity and to use the JASO FC rating.

yes sir.. then after your 1st full tank with 2t experiment kayo... bawasan nyo naman... make it 200ml per full tank...

last time 200ml lang nilagay ko sa full tank.. sa next fill up ko... 400ml naman ilalagay ko..

Sir Glenn, what brand of 2T po your using or can recommend? I'm using petron diesel with my ranger a/t, ok na din po ba yun 2T ng petron use ko?

Yung Cheapest lang po sa unioil... Every fill up ko dun na din ako bumibile

Yung sa petron ay ang rating JASO FB. Ang dapat daw ay FC.

Change air filter and fuel filter lang ang additional. Air filter around 600php and air filter around 3k.
