Im planning to get a Wildtrak 2.2 MT.....saang dealer po sa Luzon pinakamabuti kumuha ?

Im from Davao...pero nong pumunta ako sa dealer doon hindi maayos yung pag entertain ng SA/SC sa akin kaya naturn off ako.... hindi kasi ako pormang mayaman kaya akala siguro nya hindi ako makaka-afford....hehehe

Ok sir will check on that. strada drives like a car and is really fast handling is woman friendly only prob is the smaller back area compared to competition. Will set the test drive hopefully it goes well sabay na sila ng explorer ltd+.thanks for the info

You're welcome sir, I suggest that before a test drive you condition your mind that a TOUGH TRUCK shouldn't drive like a car and shouldn't just be woman friendly but instead thrill loads of women of all ages then you're ready for the RANGER EXPERIENCE... IT'S SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN'T UNDERSTAND 'TIL YOU OWN ONE.

nakita ko to sa sulit ah. for me black grills and black panel. kaso parang di maganda tignan yung panel pag nakalagay na.. Bebenta mo ba stock grill mo?

The same specs of his brother Ranger XL 4x4. ,, Those SA here in Ford Davao are so much Arrogant/Swapang & offering ridiculous expensive deals. I'm leaning to purchase it Ford Global in NCR. Can you recommend it to me? Hope they have good deals to offer.

just want to share:

my family and i went to Bolinao Pangasinan from BF Homes Paranaque. total distance traveled on the trip meter is 685km back and forth, with a full tank of gas from starting point, i got home with exactly one fourth of fuel on my guage. our ranger is a 2.2 xlt manual. with a total of 5 passengers.

sobrang dali mag overtake pati mabilis na para sakin so satisfied na ko sa 2.2L. same lang kami ni sir edtf ng reklamo na bouncy yung ride pag lubak lubak lalo na sa edsa pero sa highway ang sarap ihataw so far ang top speed ko is 160kph

bouncy pero tahimik.. unlike our montero, ang ingay sa daan lalo na pag lubak. sarap nga dumaan sa lubak e, hindi maingay hanggang 150kph lang ako, takot na hahaha! masakit lang sa tenga pag binuksan windows pag mabilis na..

Amen... 4x4 with no Diff lock is just so insanely useless...

I was hoping the 4x2s will have diff lock. Since wala pala ang 3.2, wala na rin 4x2. Hays...

Its not recommended, here's why.
Some people install a turbo timer to keep the engine idling so they can walk away from their car during a cool down period. I do not recommend these products for a number of reasons. First, if you have a manual transmission, you should always put it in first or reverse gear when parking in addition to applying the parking brake, so the convenience of walking away with the car idling is not possible.

Ofcourse naman! Only 4x4s have diff lock. You don't need a diff lock on a 4x2. And not all 4x4 pick ups in the Philippines has a diff lock. Case in example: the Strada. My Strada GLS 4x4 only has 3 4x4 modes: 2H, 4H and 4L. But it still does the job well. LSDs I think can help, and it was proven during the media drive of the Wildtrak to the foothills of Pinatubo.

I find the ride firm and bouncy so I had my rear shocks changed to Iron Man Foam Cells and removed a one leaf spring on each side. The ride is much better than stock. A bit floaty (which I like) since my tires have 28PSI only, I just increase the pressure as the load becomes heavy.

We have a 2012 Prado and me and my dad both think the ride is almost the same except at high speeds because the Ranger still a bit jittery -- maybe this will lessen when I also change the front shocks.

Had it done by DR. G's car clinic and it cost me around Php 16,000 and it took around 4 hours to get the job done.

That light, by the way, is an auxiliary LED light from Gary of HID Retrofit. It works with the reverse light and both sides have it and it is really bright. Very helpful at night since my Ranger's black and has a dark window tint.

Miner, I fully understand how you feel regarding those arrogant and swapang SAs but don't let it get to you. Turn the tables on them, me, I ordered from another dealer/sa that belong to the same group. Hanap ka lang nang matino na SA, not all are arrogant and swapang. Got my ranger just yesterday after waiting for 2 1/2 weeks. he he... I can only wink at those 2 SAs that wanted to get more than the usual. Regarding the XL 4x2, suggestion lang, buti pa get the xlt manual, you will be better off as the features are much much better.... the price difference is not that huge.

Inquiry lang mga XLT owners, does any of you tried to made some modification on the CENTER CONSOLE BOX (I'm not exactly sure if that is what it is called ) to make it more comfortable, I usually rest my elbow there when driving and I just don't like the feel of the hard plastic. Does anybody know a good car upholster that can make it somewhat like the one installed in the wildtrak just to make it a bit more comfortable . TIA.

Had my 120i's center console armrest reupholstered by Seat Mate in mandaluyong. They replaced the leather and replaced the cushioning material. Leather Interia is also recommended by a few friends. HTH
