"FORD Australia has issued a recall notice on 4258 current-generation Ranger dual cab utes produced between May 23, 2011 and February 13, 2012 over a faulty rear seat latch.*

Affected vehicles may have an incorrectly fitted rear-seatback latch that could cause the seat to fall forward – posing a potential risk to occupants. Ford advises drivers not to use a rearward facing child seat until the issue has been rectified."

this happened at an open parking lot of a church in bocaue, bulacan on a bright sunday morning. A small wall separates the parking lot with an area na talahiban. Maybe dun dumaan yung mga suspect after magalarm and narinig ng guard. It's the disadvantage of having a normal tint and not manyak tint: teases whoever can see things inside the truck to break a window and steal anything they see, specifically bags. a small backpack lang placed on the floor, napaginteresan kagad. malas lang nya ang laman lang ng bag ay tshirt at shorts lang pangbasketball. still, hassle ipagawa kahit insured. Just a heads up my fellow ranger owners.

Yeah it's pretty terrible. My S.A on Alabang told me to buy another product nalang instead of ranger because you know cash (kasi so it's hard to get kasi konti lang tubo nila) and gusto nila utang para mabilis daw makakuha which is 30-33ish% additional sa SRP in few years to pay(didn't inquire banks for their rates). I do personally need another truck and 3.2WT is great and I like it. However if wala parin reply SA ko this april I probably wait for the new hilux or strada, because I don't wanna pay an incentives again just to get another ranger.


I never tried loan, but the idea of getting bank load instead from the dealer is better I guess. They're quoting me around 2.1mil All-in for 3.2 which is insane.

Since you said you need another 3.2 but are willing to consider another product why not the mazda bt50 3.2? It is actually the PRACTICAL thing to do. I was in fact looking at purchasing the ranger 3.2 myself but when they quoted me a d.i. of 106k i said "fnck you ford!" and looked at the twin brother instead. I am very happy with it except for some minor item, which is the amber turn lens of the headlights, something that a projector retrofit can easily fix. You basically get the same truck albeit with the mazda badge. Yes some features are missing like backing up camera but that is also easily fixed.

I haven't heard much about mazda trucks, seeing that they both have the same 3.2 engine will probably look into consideration soon. Oh if you said "fnck you ford!" for 106k D.I, I just asked my SA where I got mine at 75k(2014 model) last year and now It is increased to 155-170k I'm not sure what will you say but greedy right?

for the one who got the mazda kudos to you. but the looks really is one of the things going for the ranger. i would rather go now for the chevy colorado with the power the same (200hp) and has more torque (500NM) than the 3.2 WT. it is a little less in terms of "macho" look than the ranger but imho way better than the mazda. it is cheaper too. that's where i am heading if the ford dealers don't get their act together.

Heard 6 months pila sa Ranger. Is this true>? So possible they charge DI because of the Ranger being a hot pick up right now.

Have not heard of the DI sheme on other Manufacturers

Correct.. got fed up with the DI scheme na yan from Ford! And we now bought Chevy Colorado instead. Glad we did, since pag cash marami ding freebies sa Chevrolet. It's good that they now have a lot of competition (Mazda BT-50, Chevy Colorado). The only way to show this dealers who the boss is, is to show them that we can take our business elsewhere.

^Had my t6's bedliner replaced under warranty by ford pampanga. May siwang din sa bottom. Took about a month or so to be replaced because said bedliner had to be ordered. Only issue now with my t6 is occasional rattling at right a-pillar on low speeds.

Well some more observations to share with you. Did longer trip earlier this month to Legaspi and Bicol. Car had enough power all the time. Being one of the fastest on the road, well everyone knows how bad traffic is there. Riding it during daytime. The fuel consumption was about 6l/100km. But I found out one thing. When our driver rides the car for my wife, the fuel consumption is higher as I suppose he doesnt care, coz fuel is not coming from his pocket. Also I got canopy from OffRide. So I will try to upload the pic. All other is in stock conditions.

I have bought my Ford Ranger last October 2013 wherein kasama sa deal iyong free 3 years lto registration. Today, I have just received a call from my SA stating that my plate is already there and ready for pickup. She also stated na my plate number ends with "1".

Sabi nya registered na daw until December 2016 iyon so that would mean na next renewal ko would be on January 2017. However, meron sya sinasabi na need ko bayaran iyon registration extension which would amount to 850php since instead from October 2013 to September 2016 effective iyong registration, meron extension until December 2016 instead.

I have asked if meron sya copy of receipt from LTO wherein that additional expense was stated pero sabi nya from Ford Office lang daw na receipt iyong mapoprovide nya.

Ask ko lang po sana if anyone has encountered this scenario and should I really pay the said amount? Thanks in advance.

But I called my S.A last january about the plate (wala pa daw) but he didn't mention about the additional expenses. If I may ask sir, ano po ba ending ng plate number na nirequest nyo? Pati pala sir if possible pakiupdate po sana kami if meron po ba talaga additional fees if ever extended iyong plate registration. Thanks.

Sir may dumating po kami kahapon na Wildtrak, pero wala pa po 3.2 every 15th of the month po next dating ng unit. Isinama ko na po kayo sa reservation.
May requirements po office sa 3.2 Wildtrak Sir, atleast in-house Insurance, 7% Dealers Incentives, Huper Optik Tint and 3yrs LTO Registration. Thanks
