Sharing some pics on the modification done on my ride (Fortuner 2016 G variant A/T). I have the Provent 200 Oil Catch Can installed after the lapse of the 3 year warranty and so far I am very satisfied as it worked as expected.... driven about 900km from the time I intalled the OCC...

I was not the one who installed the OCC but a reputable auto shop here in Cebu.....

Mga bossing, sa mga nag-install ng ng Oil Catch Can., me tanong ako.... Every now and then I would be able to get around 30cc of black oil after draining. for the past 2 draining times, I replaced the same amount of new oil back sa engine ko. Tama ba yun? Should I continue this practice of replacing new oil of the same amount na natanggal from the OCC?

Anong current favorite diesel oil nyo mga bossing?

Akin is “budget-meals” Shell Rimula 10w-40 low ash LD5 with API CK-4 service category for Php 270 only per liter. Tapos paired with Baldwin BT223 oil filter para sa 2017 Toyota Hilux revo ko.

Napansin ko na sa fb car groups nalang palaging nagtatanong regarding oils at napmsin ko din na halos lahat ng sumasagot is palaging fully synthetic ang pinupuri. Pero mali naman ang API service category (pang petrol/gasoline engines ang ni-recommenda na oil). Kung hindi naman mali, eh yung service manual ng kotse ang palaging pinu-push na kung saan palaging API CF or ACEA B or C pa ang nakasulat.

Baka hindi alam ng engineers ng kotse na ang nakasulat sa kanilang service manual is obsolete or backwards pa. Or baka copy at paste lang ang service manual sa lumang editions.

As far as we know, BD28 and BD7028 are dual/combination filters. Ung ibang Baldwin ay single flow filters.

you mean pinipilit ko fuel station? Hindi na kailangan piitin kasi wala pa ako post jan eh pinipilahan na yan uno. But hindi na ako nag uno kasi mas gusto ko feel ng gasolina ni phoenix.

Ok na rin kahit single flow lang ang Baldwin BT223. Mas ok pa rin kesa Bosch or VIC tapos magkalapit lang ang price.

Satisfied ako sa Shell Rimula 10w-40 LD5 API CK-4. Caltex Delo 400 MGX 15w-40 API CJ-4 gamit ko dati. Halos same price lang sila na less than Php 300/liter. Pang budget-meals lang kase tong mga langis na gamit ko.

So my next thought was to search for volmax Marketing, Distributor of Baldwin filters in Binondo. I remember buying a couple of filters from them pre-pandemic. However, it seems they relocated to Caloocan already.
