Pero may nabasa din kasi ko dito na ganyan symptoms nung nagkarga ng diesel na contaminated ata or low quality bumaba idling on cold starts, dinrain lang nya tank then karga petron turbo diesel yun ang loyal brand nya before magkarga ng low quality diesel, after that ok na.

personal opinion ko, useless ang turbo diesel sa FM natin. cause old school diesel engine tayo. try loading up with seaoil/unioil + 2t

Is it normal after adding 2T my idling at cold starts becomes very low that causes the car to vibrate a lot so what I do is step on the accelerator for around 15secs after that the idling already becomes normal. I dont experience this before when I still wasnt adding 2T. Thanks.

This is the only problem I experienced with 2T, all are positive effects. Smoother engine performance, less vibration, more power, lesser diesel consumption, etc.

There is a new product released by Liqui Moly.

LIQUI MOLY - Motor Oils, Additives, Car Care - Additive for blockages

"The additive is added before fuelling every 2,000 kilometres. The contents of a 250 ml can is enough for 50 to 70 litres of diesel fuel and is suitable for all vehicles with a diesel particulate filter, as long as they don't have an electronically controlled additive tank system for filter regeneration, as is the case in Citroen and Peugeot vehicles."

Was wondering, since I am already adding 2T oil in my Montero, will this also help in keeping the diesel system clean? Or not necessary if I use 2T every fill-up?

May DPF ba montero? How much ba yan?

Adding 2 stroke oil to diesel tank - read this - The Brick-yard - Page 1

Compute whichever is cheaper and use it.

Mga Sirs, just back read this thread and I've decided to put 2T oil in our 2009 Grand Starex CRDI para kasing wala masyadong Hyundai vehicles na naglalagay ng 2T, ok lang ba ito? Am also planning to put it in our month Strada VGT and Pajero BK, kahit bago pa lang ok lang kaya ito? TIA

I've been using 2t Oil for about 10 months on my 2001 Isuzu Hi-Lander Xtrm 4JA1 N/A. Halos kasabayan ko lang yung Owner Type na Gas Fed which is nakakuha ng 0.30 sa Emission Result. Sobrang tuwa ko dahil mas mababa yung nakuha kong Emission Result.. Biruin mo Gas vs. Diesel hahahahaha..

try to locate a hose that connects from the cylinder head(cover) to the air intake. connect the oil catch can there. connection should be: cylinder head --- oil catch can --- air intake.

    good day!

based on the info i've read on this thread, i started adding 2T oil to our 2003 mitsubishi adventure SS. i always gas up caltex diesel due to convenience, so i tried adding Havoline 2T to our ride. here are my initial observations:

    1. no difference in pulling power or response (after 2 full tanks)
    2. dark smoke was obvious when pressing hard on the accelerator during overtaking.
    3. shut off shudder was "somehow" lessened.
    4. engine noise at idle remains the same.
    5. idle speed remains the same.
    6. FC remains the same.

practically no difference was felt using 2T oil.

then i switched to Petron diesel max, and was surprised to the following:

    1. engine sound at idle was a "little" bit quieter.
    2. throttle response was greatly improved, as well as acceleration.
    3. shut off shudder was lessened further.
    4. smoke was visibly reduced to almost nil even on overtaking situations.
    5. idle speed remains the same.
    6. FC remains the same.

i'm still observing the new mix of petron diesel max / havoline 2T. but i'm quite impressed by the initial response. i'm scheduled to have my timing belt replaced, and hopefully, the engine will run even quieter after replacing the belt and balancer bearings.

for now, i'll be continuing using this mix on our ride. thanks for the info guys.

I use it in our 2009 Alterra and its running smooth! definitely noticeable changes. I don't think isuzu has changed the engine of the Alterra puro kabit lang ng mga accessories Don't forget to use the recommended ratio.

Diesel owners that add 2T oil to fuel
