    already replaced the fuel filter,
cleaned the air filter too, napaltan na
rin battery but still ayaw parin
magstart. is it possible that there is a
problem with fuel injection ayaw kc
    magpump ung fuel filter
    1) The hoses on your fuel filter may have been connected the opposite way? There is a one way valve in the filter base.

    2) You may have a suction leak?

    3) Absence of +12 volts to the injection pump solenoid or a failed solenoid coil?

    4) Faulty injection pump.

Yan yung recommended fix kasi sabi mo ayaw mag pump ng fuel.

Pa-check mo ang wiring, glow plug relay, or preheat controller kung walang kuryente sa plugs.

    Good luck.

Ipabalik mo sa original connection. Hindi tama yung mag convert sa push button switch dahil meron timer ang original system. Mapupundi ang new glow plugs mo kung mapatagal and push mo.

1 - 2 days, depending on our work load.

My oil level is rising. This happened between oil changes. Could this be caused by a leaky injector? How about a faulty oil filter anti-drainback valve? Performance and fuel consumption is normal. What signs to look out for before I bring it in for a check up?

Vehicle is a Mitsubishi Adventure. Engine is 4D56 NA.

This is probably an injection pump problem; worn drive shaft, bushing, and seal.

sir, got this from Pajero Club. can this be IP problem?

Hi, I have a 2005 4x2 A/T Pajero localy bought it. Yesterday we had a freek accident. While i was about to leave a compound, the acceleration went burzerk. The RPM suddenly rise to max (6000) redline without even touching the accelerator pedal. In just split seconds i wasnt able to control the Pajero and ended up hitting a CRV, 2 trycyle, a Van and destroying a property (Party needs store), luckily no one was seriously wounded. I was hoping if you can give me some idea on what went wrong with my Pajero or does anyone encounerted this already.

Thanks for the quick reply. Would a faulty IP show other signs aside from overfueling? A dip in performance perhaps or increased/different colored smoke?

This could be due to excessive oil discharge from the PCV being routed back to the engine's air intake system.

2005 would imply that this is an electronically controlled engine. Faulty accelerator pedal position sensor or faulty wiring from the pedal sensor to the ecu could also cause this problem.

A faulty injection pump can exhibit a lot of unpredictable performance problems. This depends on the particular problem within the injection pump.

In your case, it is fuel-to-lube oil dilution. The next predictable problem will be difficulty in starting, not to mention the high probability of engine bearing and crankshaft failure to to poor lubrication.

Would anyone know if Betan or Central Diesel accept credit card payments for their services? I want to have my injection pump checked since I'm hearing a rattling noise in the injection pump. So far, no smoke and loss of power but this noise really annoys me.

Dieseldude, what may be the causes of rattling in the injection pump?

sir, can it be the TCU? someone in Pajero club also suggested that the culprit can be the TCU.

This is very unusual. Injection pumps don't normally rattle. Noise could be coming from some part of the engine, near the pump.

No, TCU cannot cause an engine to run wild. Btw, I suggest that this car be brought to a qualified diesel workshop. This is not for DIYs.
