Pwede lang mag bleed sa low pressure side (from filter to supply pump).

Nakabili ako nito Monday this week. Toyota price was approx 8k, very reasonable.
So far, alam kong tumutulong ang Toyota, Hyundai, at Nissan.

October 12th, 2009 12:06 AM #697Hi can anyone identify these 2 pictures for me? car is a nissan patrol safari 1993 td42
1.) the hose in the picture is not connected to anything. parang putol or ganito ba talaga siya? is this a breather or what? i just wanna make sure kasi baka dapat naka connect to pala to something tas na tanggal lang
2.) what is this hose for? galing siya sa vacuum pump behind the alternator. kaya lng nag leleak ng oil din yung hose nato.
-is there a problem with the vacuum pump or seal?
-mechanic disconnected the terminal na kadugtong nito kasi it keeps the handbreak lights on lagi. baka grounded bec of the oil?
THANK YOU!

I am not sure coz I don't have the vacuum circuit for this vehicle. My mechanic says that this is an idle-up device which should be hooked up to a solenoid valve..
2.) what is this hose for? Not sure again. galing siya sa vacuum pump behind the alternator. kaya lng nag leleak ng oil din yung hose nato.
-is there a problem with the vacuum pump or seal? Possible.
-mechanic disconnected the terminal na kadugtong nito kasi it keeps the handbreak lights on lagi. baka grounded bec of the oil? Something may be wrong with the car's handbrake circuit.
THANK YOU! Try to ask Rion, fellow Tsikoter. He has access to lots of info, and might be able to give you correct info on this car's vacuum lines.

i've been reading this thread before office work almost eveyday and i would say that it has been interesting, specially for me who is new to diesel powered vehicle. i bought a 1997 hilander about three months ago. I'm pretty satisfied with its performance, including the suspension and the aircondition system, except for the white smoke and bad odor that comes out of its exhaust. Is it true that the 4ja1 isuzu engine is notorious for its white smoke emissions? i've seen isuzu crosswinds of latest models (which i learned also usues 4ja1 engines) having the same problem on to white smoke emissions.

can you share your experiences on 4ja1 isuzu engines? thanks in advance.

i've been reading this thread before office work almost eveyday and i would say that it has been interesting, specially for me who is new to diesel powered vehicle. It's really your posts/questions which make our thread interesting. And I just try to share my experiences with you.
i bought a 1997 hilander about three months ago. I'm pretty satisfied with its performance, including the suspension and the aircondition system, except for the white smoke and bad odor that comes out of its exhaust. Is it true that the 4ja1 isuzu engine is notorious for its white smoke emissions? No it's not true. If your compression is good and you're not burning oil, this could be a timing or a fuel injectoi system problem.
I've seen isuzu crosswinds of latest models (which i learned also use 4ja1 engines) having the same problem on to white smoke emissions. Can you share your experiences on 4ja1 isuzu engines? thanks in advance. Of course. But I will first ask our technicians if they have noticed a white smoke trend on 4JA1s, then I'll get back to you.
