aircon guy had to cut a hole in the plastic housing in front of the glovebox, so we can insert a filter inside, where it sat well naman.

Please be careful with #5 Nihon Automotives PH this shop is one of the worse, even the brake pads that they are selling are 100% fake, brake pads are a major part of the vehicle's safety pero Nihon Automotives think it's okay to risk the driver and passengers' lives, ang matindi pa is overpriced pa mga fake items niya.

Still verifying TIMITSU Auto Parts Center / Timitsu Baliwag Auto Parts(which is a branch of SEZAN Baliwag Auto Parts) since yung brake pads na binebenta niya looks sort of fishy and possibly filters then yung price niya malapit sa Mitsubishi & etc... genuine parts prices.

Very easy to determine yung product is fake by the authorities actually yung DTI, IPOL or FBI will just buy a sample of the product online. Easy for them to catch kasi Lazada and Shopee shipping label includes the exact address of the online seller.

Besides the consumer has the full right to complain to the authorities about being duped into buying fake goods. That's why you see warehouses being raided sa news and etc... because somebody or an end consumer gave a tip about it.

Don't forget when people smuggle in fake goods it not only harms our vehicles and our lives, they also harm our economy as they harm the car manufacturers who are doing business in our country which in turn provides people good paying decent white collar jobs which in turn generates more income to our economy, those fake smugglers are not paying any taxes they just pay specific amount to a few number of people or "kakilala sa loob" or "kumpare/kumare" sa bureau of customs to release their cargo or containers without any records, papers nor any legal documents.

Which in turn only enriches the pockets of few individuals who engages in this corrupt practice, if the smugglers don't pay a single peso of duties and taxes then our country will have no budget to maintain our old infrastructures nor can we build new infrastructures projects. In the end the damage done by fake product smugglers end up damaging more than our vehicles and our safety they also more harm to our economy since these people who engage in selling fake products do not even employ decent paying jobs nor do they create one in the end the "Me first" or "Ako muna" attitude will just destroy the economy and further reduces the jobs that legit businesses can generate.

Malaking Domino effect sa bansa natin ang ginagawa ng mga ganyang type illegal of businesses, kaya we shouldn't support them or their products because they don't even give a single f*ck with what happens to us or our vehicles in the first place para lang kumita sila ng pera through the dirty way.

If something happens to us or our vehicles because of the fake products will those sellers compensate us for the damages or possibly loss of life.

Those sellers ng sub-standard fake rims or tires if people die would they even pay a single peso? Or will just continue to profit off poor individuals who will fall for their deceit?

There are a lot of accidents caused by fake parts, kaya nga meron na tayong kasabihan "Fake parts, breaks hearts."

Ang mura lang yung filters and oil nila lalo yung toyota oil and filters... 2900 for 8 liters toyota FS oil + orig filter. By contrast, sa casa 2297 ang 4 liters ng FS oil sa casa.

Highly suspicious itong Honda oil filter,

1st I would like to point out yung writings ng left Honda oil filter that came from Hobbies n Stuff has a uglier printing ng Thai language compared sa Honda Magallanes na Honda genuine oil filter which has a smoother printing, highlighted in yellow.



Thai people will know how to print or write their language smoothly and corre especially using a machine, pero based on the photo sa stock ni Hobbies n Stuff it looks like the factory who printed the Thai letters isn't a domestic Thai factory, impossible na ganyan kapangit yung printing mould especially Mahle manufacturer pa, highlighted in yellow.

2nd thing I've noticed yung bypass valve ng galing sa casa Honda genuine filter has an opening at the bottom vs. Hobbies n Stuff na completely different manufacturing/production process ng bypass valve which is sealed sa bottom.



Yan yung 2 things napansin ko kaagad based on my observation.

Since both of the oil filters claimed to have come from Mahle Siam(Thailand) they shouldn't have major differences in production methods since they just come out from the same factory floor. Impossible na gagastos pa si Mahle ng another steel mould para sa iisang filter model para lang sa bypass valve and yung steel roller mould gamit sa pagprint sa oil filter na cannister spin on type, highlighted in yellow.

Naka kita na ako ng steel printing mould ng mga spin on oil filters they are used in the production line for each specific oil filter model, it's like a stamp made of steel na umiikot lang sa body ng oil filter during the marking process.

Highly suspicious yung Honda "genuine" oil filters ni Hobbies n Stuff, doon palang sa printing quality ng Thai language napansin ko din now pati yung Japanese writing on the filter sablay din compared mo with very smooth printing ng Honda oil filter galing sa Honda Magallanes.

Ingat lang kayo sa Honda genuine parts kasi last last year or 3-4 years ago Honda headquarters became strict sa Honda genuine parts meron silang strict company policy that all Honda genuine parts and maintenance are no longer allowed to be sold to resellers or aftermarket auto retailers, strict narin ang supply chain ni Honda and they don't allow Honda authorized dealers to sell the items to other vendors that are authorized by Honda, they'll heavily penalize authorized Honda parts dealers if nalaman na binebenta nila sa aftermarket yung Honda products.

Products that come from the same factory floor production line should not have too far differences, they use the same process, printing mould, machines and etc... to produce the products.

Mauunderstand ko pa if may minimal differences if isa galing sa Mahle Siam Thailand and isa galing sa Mahle Europe, Mahle China or etc...

Even this Japanese writing isn't smooth as a reputable parts manufacturer would produce.

The left side looks like it was copied from the original instructions ng oil filter then ginawan lang ng bagong steel printing mould by just copying the instructions without even using the correct font and correct calligraphy styles of both the Japanese and Thai language.

The product on the left looks like a reverse engineered product from China, daming incorrect details na halatang kinopya lang sa naked eye level. Kailangan mong bigyan ng pansin bago mo makikita yung mga mali sa details. Even yung spacing ng words and etc... ibang iba din.
